Rose Garden Tea Room was an excellent choice to host my friend’s baby shower.
Where should I begin? This place is not only incredibly cute and affordable but it also has THE BEST customer service and the food is also delicious.
Whether you want to have brunch with your girl friends or host a small gathering event, I 100% recommend checking this place out. The owners Mary and her husband are the best and they make planning your event a great experience. You can reserve one of the 3 private dinning areas for 2 hours for a flat rate, and you really don’t need to get too much for decorations because the place is already so beautifully decorated. On the downside, time can feel limited to setup and take down when you have the space only for 2 hours. Essentially you have 1 hour to setup if your event is from 11am to 1pm, and if you have it from 2pm to 4pm, hope that the previous customer is quick on taking their decorations down. But all that is manageable and not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
I had never been to this tea room, but individuals in my family have been going in certain anniversaries like Mother’s Day
The dining area is spacious with an open layout. Everything is clean and nicely decorated
The menu offers a variety of options from bites, to meals, to other tea room classics. I know many people go for the desserts. There’s beer and wine as well as plenty of non-alcoholic options (coffees, teas, and soft drinks). We were given complimentary breadsticks which were essentially long croutons. Tasty but a little strange in terms of complementary bread. More seemed like palette cleansers or again oversized croutons
The staff were gracious hosts. Everyone was friendly and efficient, and the food, ambiance, and service were solid
This spot is in what looks to be a converted department or furniture store. Half of the space is the restaurant, and the other half is a store with many boutiques
Some tips:
If you’re celebrating a special event like a birthday, baby shower, bridal shower, or just want to enjoy high tea, this place is perfect. They also cater
Cheers!!
Even with a couple of parties going on they still brought everything on time and made sure that we had everything we needed.
A few friends and I went for High Tea. (We had a reservation.) For high tea is a set price. Included is all you can drink tea. I reccomend the Rose tea, though the peach was good as well. Or if you don’t drink tea, they have soft drinks and iced tea. There are three courses.
Here’s a sample of what to expect:
(Pics of food included)
Course 1 – Little sandwiches ( each plate had: one cucumber sandwich, one egg salad sandwich, one fruit kabob, one spinach philo wrap, one mini quiche, one turkey sandwich. The size is about 1 to 2 inches depending on the sandwich.)
☕️
Course 2 – Scones, strawberry jam and whip cream. We were on a table of 6. We each got one.
Course 3 – dessert. ( each plate had, one macaron, one cheesecake, one tarte, one strawberry cake) again these are all mini desserts.
They didn’t ask about allergies, I am allergic to eggs and one of the sandwich was an egg salad sandwich. Other than that everything went without a hitch. The food was delicious and fresh.
I must say that our server Mari was excellent! She made us feel welcome and make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
This is a place I will come back to and bring friends too. Thank you Rose Garden Tea room!
