If you’re looking for a great spot to satisfy your late-night cravings, this place is a hidden gem! Their menu is packed with delicious options, and everything I tried was fantastic. The fried rice, breaded fish, fried chicken, and fried chicken wings were all perfectly cooked and flavourful.
But what really made me happy was finding deep-fried intestines on the menu — crispy, savoury, and a must-try if you’re into more adventurous eats! It’s not every day you come across that, so it was a great surprise.
Definitely a spot I keep coming back to!

This place has amazing food and it is so affordable. In the area, I feel like this store is helping the community. Alot of people can not afford expensive meals and the place is very fair and kind. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in windsor ! I would give 100 stars if I could.

I wanted to like this place more because the lady on the phone was honestly the nicest person I’ve dealt with in years when calling a restaurant.
However I found some issues with the food. General Tao chicken was very oily and lacked that traditional sticky sweet and spicy flavour. The crispy beef was very very chew and gum like. The white rice also seemed over cooked and broken.
I would potentially try some other dishes based on the friendliness but for now this reflects my most recent experience and will update if I return.

Small, family owned shop offering good southern style Chinese food for a reasonable price.
We were here very late and were seated promptly, service was quick considering there was no one around and food came out quite quickly as well. Everything we had was quite good. Decor is reminiscent of a typical North American 90s nostalgic Chinese restaurant. I recommend the fuzhou fried rice, which was filling and tasty.

Looking for a late night dinner? This is one of the few places that I found open when i couldn’t find others especially on labour day. Good service and environment. Speed of delivery was pretty decent and the last but definitely not the least, the food tasted great along with the quantity. Although their chilli oil could be better with more spice it. Overall a well satisfied meal and worth a second try.

I am visiting Windsor from the west coast, so I am very glad that Rose Garden is open late. I walked in just after 10 PM and ordered the chicken and vegetable chow mein. It was exactly what I needed after days of travel and fast food! So delicious and fresh.

While I think they normally serve “western” tastes, I decided to try ordering 4 Cantonese dishes from their Chinese menu (Ying Yang fried rice, Cantonese chow mein, Satay beef chow mein and Singapore vermicelli). All tasted very good! Only one minor complaint: I wished the chow mein was crispier (maybe separate the sauce from the chow main for takeout orders?). Other than that, good flavours, quality ingredients, large portions. Happy to return and support this family business whenever I’m in the area.
