Opened today Sept 8, 2021! Couldnt be happier to have food within walking distance! The food is hot & fresh, and delicious!
7 tables inside and 2 outside. No set hours posted, so call 1st….
Owner is the cook, and everything is authentic, from staff to decor to the food….I am a very happy camper! Already 3 customers 5 minutes after opening….just needs sign by road!

First time visit. Read a lot of good reviews and thought I’d give it a try. Not much to look at but you don’t come here for the decor you come for the food. I was greeted immediately as I entered by the owner and a woman working the counter. Looked to be clean and well organized.
I first ordered the torta dinner. They didn’t have any bread. Then I ordered the pork (pastor) street taco dinner. Nope, no pork. So I settled for the beef (picadillo) street taco dinner.
I took mine to go. It came wrapped up in paper then in foil. It was served up with some refried beans and rice. Beans were on point. I thought the rice was a little dried out. The tacos were tasty and I had mine with their salsa verde.
It was a filling lunch and overall I was satisfied. I’m giving 4 stars due to not having tortas or pork. I’ll try it again and update my review.
It’s worth coming to this small out of the way restaurant. Given the fact it’s in Thonotosassa he must be doing something right.

This little hole in the wall, Roscoe’s Tacos was a spicey surprise out here in Thonotosassa! The place was clean, food was on point, and the service was great!! Will definitely be back!!

If you’re looking for authentic, delicious street tacos, this is most definitely the place! Our family frequents Roscoe’s at least once a week and the quality and freshness is constant every single time. Everything we’ve had has been fantastic, right down to the friendliness of the owners. From the minute you walk in the door, they are genuine and welcoming. Absolutely five stars from our family. We’re so glad they’re in the neighborhood!

The best tacos in Thonotosassa! When we walked in the door the first thing you notice is how clean the restaurant is and the friendly greeting from the owner. The food was absolutely delicious! I love authentic Mexican tacos and these hit the spot! The tacos were a nice size, and the meat was tender and delicious. We will be back for more.

Quality food! Authentic flavors. I’ve had their asada burritos and tacos. The burrito was perfectly sized and grilled. What I noticed distinguished roscoes is that it’s NOT a grease soaked tortilla, which makes it taste better. I loved their red hot sauce…. This is one of the better random Mexican food finds I’ve had…. I’d love it if he had taco tuesdays or something.
