We got the breakfast sandwich and the chicken strips, mac-n-cheese, and slaw. I was really excited to try everything – it all looked good, but the flavor wasn’t there. Maybe I should’ve ordered something different. I was also surprised by the high prices. Our server, Alma, was really nice and fun to talk to. If I go back next time I’m in Long Beach, I’ll try something else since other items have good reviews.

Staff is always friendly, explain anything you may have a question on. Service is fast and the food is always on point.
Took my husband here as he has never been he ate all of the food I posted on this post, and hes very very picky.
The food is great, we weren’t a fan of the mac and cheese it wasn’t bad it just wasn’t a fan favorite of ours.
Great job, this is my favorite location it is downtown LBC by the queen Mary.
Chicken is juicy, tasty, succulent and crunchy! The cornbread, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, was great. The hot sauce is great, we even bought one to go. The lemonade is freshly squeezed and tasty.
Yum cant wait to go back! Great job staff.

Highly recommend! The soda is AMAZING! The best soda I’ve had since arriving. I would eat here again. Very nice waitresses and staff. Very clean restrooms.

Haven’t been here in a while, and so glad I did. So good! So filling! Not good for diets. Had the 1 breast with grits. Grits were surprisingly good. Of course the chicken was fantastic. Love that they have parking across the street, WITH AN ATTENDANT. Service was good, but my extra plate for my son never came. (Don’t ask for anything extra).

Service is amazing our waiter Carpio made sure our food came out good and fast. The dinks were nice and on point, not weak at all thanks to our bartender Ignacio he assist our daughter with her first cup of kool-aid. It brought back childhood memories lol.

The LBC location is the one you want to fool with. Greeted by almost everyone working there. Establishment clean and cool. Service fast and friendly. The food. OMG. I got the chicken, yams, greens and cornbread. My partner got the wings and waffles. I am not a big waffles person but whatever they’re putting in that batter is ahhhmazing. The chicken seasoned to perfection. I don’t eat pork so it’s rare I can get good greens anymore but they use turkey butt, so if that’s a concern for you too, get your greens HERE. I will absolutely be back for my next soul food fix. Price is high but portions are big and I have two meals for $22. Not too shabby in today’s economy.

I’ve never eaten a waffle that left me speechless…. this waffle did, i think i even closed my eyes it was so good.
I thought after the bite of waffle the syrup would take away from it… it didn’t!!! It soaked up all the buttery syrup goodness & it just took it to the next level.
The fried chicken was like my great grandma’s. I can say it confidently with no offense to my Grandma Great because hers was the best… she would enjoy this fried chicken leg just as much as I did & that is saying something.
The black coffee complimented all that waffle. Mmmmmmm
My baby got the mac & she loved it. I ate the rest cause I loved it.
We ordered a chilli & a cornbread too it was like home in a bowl. The cornbread was gorgeous.
I need to go back & try the collard greens i hear they are lovely.
Ambiance was longbeach staple with a feel of a celebrity could walk in the door at any minute because there is no food like this anywhere other than Roscos Chicken & Waffles.
Thank you to the server, made sure everything was delicious & as it should be.
Thank you to the kitchen staff everything was stellar, so so good.
The place is so good it makes you want to buy a t-shirt or hat a souvenir.
