I went in for lunch and got the pork tenderloin and a regular side of baked beans. First off, wow. Second of all, wow. Third of all, do I really need to keep going? I’ve came previously for the pulled pork sandwich and I was amazed then that I knew I had to try another option. Personally I’m not sure I’ve had a bigger nor better tenderloin. The bbq beans? Screw your stomach and get them. The price tag? Listen just put your wallet away and let your mouth water as you eat it. It’s worth every penny. Will be back way too many times. Unfortunately I didn’t get pictures because I devoured it before I realized I should review this. But no lies were told.

This was my first time eating KC-style BBQ, and it did not disappoint me at all. I ordered brisket burnt ends, pork, sausage, cheese corn, and smoked beans. All the meats were tender, juicy, and not too heavy on smokiness, which is a good thing cause it allows you to taste the food. Great job.

Amazing! Check the hours and plan your lunch or dinner around Roscoe’s BBQ. I had a pulled pork sandwich and baked beans. Best BBQ Ever. They also have the homemade sauce for sale and I bought some orginal.

We ordered ribs, burnt ends and fries. Oh. My. Word. Sooooooo good. Tender, moist, flavorful meat. The fries were cooked to perfection. Food was served quickly and piping hot. We took ours to-go, but the restaurant was clean and bright. Staff was very friendly and efficient. We stumbled upon this place, but we’ll definitely be back!

Atmosphere and Food was good but I think it’s a little over priced. We got a burnt -in sandwich and a ham/beef sandwich with fries and onion rings, it came up to a little over $40 dollars without drinks. Bread was very thin, should be a Texas toast. Getting a $13 to $14 sandwich I believe 1 side shouldn’t be separate. Lady upfront was very nice. No ribs available at 1:30pm. I’d buy there sauce but probably won’t be back after spending that. . Great people though

Excellent BBQ!!! I got the 2 meat plate with brisket and burnt ends. Fries and cheesy corn as sides.
The brisket was smokey and delicious. The burnt ends were some of the best I have had in a while. The sides were fantastic. I would put them up against any of the top dogs in KC.

Great KC BBQ! Caught them just before close. Burnt ends are super tasty and moist. Ribs were a bit fall off bone and good flavor. Love their house bbq sauce! Cheesy corn is great and a nice surprise. The slaw is a dill and light vinegar slaw, beans are on the sweet side with a spicy kick. My entire family preferred Roscoe’s over Joe’s.

Wonderful each time we visit. No complaints about the food. The prices are not cheap. But, for the great food – it’s worth it.
The restaurant is small and with just a few people, it becomes very crowded and loud.
Wish they’d extend their hours and be open on the weekends.
Will return to support our favorite BBQ restaurant!

Amazing family owned joint here. The only competitor this place has is slaps. If you know BBQ in Kansas City then you have to know Roscoes.
