While Rosatis pizza in general is overall excellent, it’s my favorite, but this location has really gone downhill. I’ve ordered from this location for maybe 10 years but at least the last 10x I’ve ordered the deep dish pizza has not been good. They are very stingy with the sauce (even when you ask for xtra) and it’s closer to cheesy bread than pizza. It’s often not cooked properly, overly greasy (literally liquid running out of the box), and in general just not good. I’ve wasted my money for the last time at this location. Deep dish pizza is supposed to have sauce on top!

As many other reviews have noted, the quality of the food from this location has drastically gone down over the last few years. Rosati’s has been a staple in Vernon Hills for such a long time, but I would not recommend this location to anyone. We recently ordered a simple plain cheese pizza and wings, and it will be our last order from this location. As mentioned by others, there was very little sauce, it was overly greasy, and much of the cheese was burnt. Most of the wings were still a bit pink close to the bone and the sauce spilled out of the container due to how it was packaged. I previously had an issue with this location when I had ordered a party tray of Italian sausage that was undercooked. I thought that it would take effort to screw up a simple cheese pizza, but once again this location found a way to disappoint. Will be sticking with Maciano’s which is in the next plaza over, but I hope this location does something to improve quality.

I ordered pizza they told me half hour which is understandable because of the Bears game but when I went to pick it up after an hour and ten they told me it wasn’t ready and I needed to wait 20 minutes more!! Ridiculous! Also I did pick up not delivery which is even more frustrating!! This is why their reviews are so low! Lacking time and customer service! Definitely not returning to this location even though it’s closer to my house!

Ordered a double dough half pepperoni half cheese from this location on monday (1/12/2026). It was BY FAR THE MOST DISGUSTING PIZZA IVE EVER HAD. The whole pizza tasted like that cheap garlic butter sauce from domino’s pizza. A $6 pizza from little caesars blows this place away. Wasted $40 I had 2 slices and struggled to choke it down. The rest is in the trash.

Their pizza is a great option for those who like a nice tasting, cheesy and saucy pizza. It’s close to home for us, and ordering and pickup are very easy. The sausage is plentiful with a robust fennel flavor that you’d expect with Chicago-Style pizza.

Rosati’s Pizza, is pretty good. Especially if you like pizza by the slice. The Libertyville, IL., location offers on Tuesday’s a 2 slice special w/ 2 free sodas! Not many locations where you can dine in though. The only dine in location I have noticed is located in Schaumburg, IL. I am sure there are other locations.

Amazing pizza spot! Just had the mozzarella sticks and boneless chicken. Very tasty, great portions, always have all kinds of drinks. They have slices ready to go and have a 3.50 slice and drink special. Great spot to have lunch! Especially if you are near Mundelion Courthouse!

The food was good. But picked up 2 chopped salads. I called to let them know that it wasn’t chopped. The reply was this is how we make ours. The salad has full cherry tomatoes and full slices of cucumbers. It wasn’t chopped or mixed. PLEASE FIND A PICTURE OF A PROPER CHOPPED SALAD. Just change the menu to a salad!!

I have been here 3 times since new ownership and they don’t ever even notice my order from online until I arrive. I’ve been waiting an additional 35 minutes since my order was supposed to be ready. Unacceptable. Do not go here.
