Grand Rising!
Today is Friday, December 19, 2025 – the last new moon of the year. I waited until today to share this post so it could be delivered with the same cosmic energy I felt while dining on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, December 17, my husband and I went to Lake Forest College to have dinner…so we thought. The caf was closed, and we needed a Plan B. Fortunately, we had Rosati’s in the past and new that this would be a quick, delicious, and inexpensive option. What I wasn’t expecting was the Beautiful service we were about to experience. The first “B” of plan B
Beautiful Service: We were greeted by two young employees (maybe high school age). Come to find out, the “young’ was only an exterior account because their souls were Beautifully aged. The customer service they provided was phenomenal and comforting. The eye contact. The holding of conversation. The attentiveness. ALL of it was so beautiful! Special thanks to Freddy and Rusty. (Special thanks to their parents, too. Manners like that don’t just happen!!!)
The second B is “Best”…
Rosati’s is the best pizza we have ever had. When I say “ever,” I mean EEEEVVVVVEEERRR (and I am 50 years old) I think what makes it the best, besides the fresh ingredients and crust, is the fact that you can taste the love that goes into the making of the pizza. I knew this to be true when I saw the cook come out to add more pizza to the warmer. He asked how our pizza was. He truly cared. Special thanks to Rusty.
So…Rosati’s, thank you for being our Plan B…you are Beautiful; you are the Best.

Loved how kind and attentive the staff are. We did catering and they put the meatballs separate from the spaghetti to accommodate for our vegetarian guests. Their staff member John even helped me load the food into my car. ⭐️ 10/10 would order here again!

Really looked forward to some authentic Chicago deep dish and instead I got a sorry excuse for a pizza. Gave 3 stars because the flavor was there and great. But as you can see in the picture, compare that to what their deep dish is supposed to look like….the staff is slacking. This deep dish I got doesn’t hold its shape, isn’t firm. The way the crust is you’d think it’s a stuff crust pizza, but it’s not. I lived in the area for 5yrs and come back annually for work events. So much has changed in the year or two.

Went in to go pick up the order and the customer service was so good i really did have to leave a review. I didnt catch his name, but who i assumed was the manager was probably one of the nicest dudes ive met in a minute. If i had the ability to give him a raise i definitely would. Whole team was great but that dude was genuinely a good soul. God bless

I order the cheef, and as a lover of italian beef sandwiches, this was by far, the best italian beef sandwich I’ve had in a good while! The gentleman at the register was quite kind and friendly when taking my order. I definitely plan on coming by here more often!

I had a fantastic experience at this new spot! I really enjoyed the chopped salad and a slice of pizza, hot and fresh. I couldn’t resist trying the tiramisu, and I’m so glad I did—it’s light and delicious. I didn’t order ahead, but was pleasantly surprised by the quick walk-in service. The restaurant interior was spotless, and wait—there’s a disco ball? Definitely adds a fun touch to the atmosphere! I’m excited to come back and try their pasta dishes and more salads. I’m also keeping their catering menu in mind since I love to entertain but don’t always have time to cook. So many great options!
