We visited on a Saturday at 12pm, 3 adults and 1 child. The kids menu is amazing! It’s a shame this restaurant doesn’t take part in the kids eat free like the others however still a great deal. The kids menus are interactive so they can draw, colour and stay busy. Staff were friendly however a bit slow at taking orders and clearing, possibly due to staffing issues.
The ones was UNREAL!! We shared some starters and a main. Pork skewers, chicken satay, prawn donuts and pad Thai. Wow so good! The lemongrass ice tea is so refreshing too!
The atmosphere is great and decor is lovely, we will deffo return!

We were invited to Rosa’s Thai and had and great time. From the moment we walked in, the staff were really welcoming and looked after us, their customer service was exceptional and the food and drinks were genuinely amazing. We had so many delicious options to choose from.

We had a great meal at Rosa’s York. Norbert gave us a warm welcome and we were seated quickly. Our server, Pucca was very friendly and took our order quickly. The food and drinks arrived quickly. All the dishes were great. A good size portion with really good flavours. Excellent value for what we received. Will definitely come again when in York or another branch.

Decided to complete the trifecta this week and try the last of this small cluster of Thai restaurants, having previously eaten at Zaap and Giggling Squid.
I like Rosa’s as a chain, having previously eaten at the ones in Edinburgh and Liverpool, but this was my first visit to this large one in York. A former shop, it’s up opposite The Ivy, so quite well located for the shops and the nightlife.
Seated straight away without a reservation (Thursday evening), that was a good start – service was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is warm and cosy inside, divided into smaller areas so it doesn’t feel crowded. A big plus. The decor is eclectic, with novel signage.
To drink, a pint of Singha. It has to be really, doesn’t it, Singha for the people. I had been avoiding alcohol this week, out of respect for my liver, but a wet and blustery day really called out for beer. So there it was. Beer for the soul.
To eat, the classics. The fluffy prawn doughnuts to start – beautiful minced prawn, deep fried and served with a sweet and spicy sauce. Yum.
Pad kra pao for my main – with minced chicken. Just the right side of fiery and with a crispy, golden-yolked egg sitting atop the rice, like a majestic beast surveying its lands. The yolk was perfect, bursting to spread forth its bounty upon the rice.
No dessert. There were some on offer but I had cakes for lunch and felt I should be good. Rare, but it happens.
Overall this was a good choice. There’s much to commend about a visit to Rosa’s – recommended for either lunch or dinner. Two paws firmly up.

We had a wonderful dining experience here! The Thai food was very authentic, and my whole family absolutely loved it. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the staff quickly arranged a table for us.
A special thank you to Keaw, who took care of us throughout the meal. She was very friendly and warm, and her smile made us feel so welcomed. She did her best to accommodate all our requests, which we truly appreciated.

If you visit Rosa, you must try the chicken rice — it’s incredibly delicious and tastes just like home in Thailand! The dipping sauce is perfect, the appetizers are great, and the noodles are amazing too. Every dish is full of authentic flavor. The restaurant has a cozy, lovely atmosphere with friendly service. Definitely worth a visit — highly recommended!

We usually like This food but we didn’t care for this meal at all although I see most people seem to love the food there. The food didn’t have much flavor other than being very spicy. We had the red curry with vegetables and tofu, a green papaya salad, “morning glory” vegetables (which was described as a leaf vegetable but it was mostly green beans) and roti. It was a very disappointing meal.

The service was amazing from start to finish. Our waitor Norbert cheerfully greeted us and carefully explained the menu’s concept well. His recommendation of the pork ribs was right on, it tasted amazing.
Food was also way better than I expected, seasoning was on point, right amount of chilli, I ordered the chicken red curry which was also very light and tasty
