Rosa’s Thai Cafe Waterloo is conveniently located on The Cut, just 3 minutes from Waterloo train station. We’re open for eat-in, Thai takeaway and delivery every day of the week. We’re also situated between The Old Vic and the Young Vic theatres which makes us perfect for a pre-theatre meal. Or if you fancy a quick lunch, we also offer a Thai 2-course lunch set too.

I had an amazing experience at Rosa’s Thai Waterloo! I went with a vegetarian friend, and while I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to mushrooms, lettuce, and cranberries, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive in making sure everything was safe for me to enjoy. Every one of our waiters was absolutely top-notch… so friendly, helpful, and professional.
The food itself was divine… every bite was a gentle surprise of flavour, perfectly balanced and full of freshness. It tasted wonderful on the tongue and smelled just as good. I truly appreciated the care they took with both the service and the food.
A few tips:
️ Best to book in advance or even on the day – we managed to get a table for two just four hours ahead (or we would have had to queue as it was busy)!
️ If you have any allergies or intolerances, definitely ask for recommendations – they’re so accommodating.
Order your drinks first – it gives you time to browse the menu and chat before diving into the food choices.
And just a fun one – hope you don’t sit near any sneezing neighbours who forget to cover their mouths!
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious Thai meal with genuine hospitality!

The service is excellent, Amir served us with great care and we were very happy. and the drinks are particularly delicious. I highly recommend the lychee and mango bubble drink! The fried rice noodles and rice are both very authentic and tasty. Highly recommended!

Back at Rosa Thai after 1.5 years, and the food is still just as good as before! The place remains as popular as ever, which says a lot about their consistency. I especially recommend trying the red curry with duck — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Definitely worth a stop if you’re near Waterloo!

Anupam was an amazing server. He suggested wonderful items to order and brought the food out promptly and was super friendly. The food was amazing! I absolutely loved Rosa’s Thai In Waterloo, London. My friend and I came here for a girl’s trip and we decided to have Thai food on our second day. We loved the food so much that we returned on day three of our trip. I had the pad kee mao and the fried rice, both of which were phenomenal. They were accommodating to vegetarian and vegan diet, which was fantastic. The service was also quick and the staff was attentive! I would highly recommend this place!

Lovely restaurant with delectable dishes. I personally got Tum Yum Talay Mo Fai, as someone that tends to have a sensitive flavor pallet i must say all of the flavors work really well together to make a nice aromatic dish. Much kudos to one of the workers Sam, very inviting, helpful, and patient. 10/10 must try.

It was busy on a Wednesday night but we were still seated as a table of 6 in under 5 mins so ♀️but i think that was by the Grace of God because like I said it was busyyyyy .
If they have the option to reserve prior i would.

Tom Yum Prawns were disappointing. Very few Thai flavours and the noodles hadn’t absorbed any flavours either. Duck Red Curry arrived with the duck still cold. After being reheated that was delicious.
