Our chef designs the menu following family recipes and creations of his own. He prepares everything in an artisanal craft fashion. Food is made when you order it. Rosas Plane Food Inc signature entrees are Ceviche, Pork Carnitas, Chiles Rellenos and Huge Steaks, among others. Established in 1988 in the original location next to Calexico International Airport, dining at Rosas is an Imperial Valley tradition for families. We are now located on Imperial Ave and 5th Street. DINE IN is OPEN, and DRIVE-THRU.

Fast friendly service. We had the ceviche and let me tell you it was delicious. I never clean my plate, but I did today. Every bite was filled with shrimp. Made just right!!! I absolutely love the decor right down to the tables, they each have a verse from different songs. Thank you

What a Great find! I was traveling through to Yuma, Az and found this Wonderful Authentic Mexican food place. I almost turned around when I realized how far from hwy-8 it was but I am so glad I kept going and found it. I ordered the Chili relleno with chopped shrimp. WOW is not enough to describe how Great it was! Loads of shrimp, no skimping at all! Don’t miss the chance to try this place if you can! Service was excellante!

Some of the best if not the best food in the Imperial Valley. The new location is fantastic and the service was exceptional. Everything we ate was so delicious! Definitely not expensive at all also the food tastes amazing the portions was huge, overflowing the plate also the customer service was amazing the drinks was refreshing. I definitely will be back to try the menudo which I’ve seen other people order while I was here. This place also delivers, but it’s better to eat it there and try the full experience like I did and you won’t be disappointed. Very clean place to eat alone or with friends and family

If your are in El Centro, Rosas Plane Food is a must! My father in law and I both ordered the carne asada plate… as a SoCal native, this was the absolute best carne asada I have ever had the privilege of eating. The meat was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was just right.
Aside from the food being delicious, the experience as a whole was incredible. Rosa’s daughter took the time to talk with us and told us that Rosa was back in the kitchen cooking. This is clearly a woman who loves her craft and is the best at what she does.
After we told her daughter what a good job she did, she even came out and let us take a picture with her!

Rosas Plane Food has been a restaurant that’s been prevalent in my life since I was a toddler. It was a name synonymous with homely service, great atmosphere, and some of the best food that I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve travelled to locales all around the world.)
Having been on a crazed diet for the past years, I happily treated myself on a return trip. On first bite of their guacamole I am immediately taken back to the amazing seasonings, flavor profiles, and homemade cooking that takes me back.
The prices are higher than other locales, but the portions and flavors are honestly too good to pass up.
Do yourself a service and stop on by soon. Whether it’s their rib-eye, carnitas, enchiladas, or their signature beans. Can’t go wrong. It’s been awhile since I’ve returned, can’t wait to come back. (Sorry for the lack of carnitas photos, I “dropped” my plate…in my stomach..)

My daughter found your restaurant on Google, she wanted a giant steak and it literally said that on one of your pictures. After an amazing time in Mexico, she wanted a giant Steak and potato. We made a deal that we would find a non-chain restaurant. I had enchiladas Rojas and they were perfect. Baby girl got her giant steak and it was cooked to perfection medium rare and she accomplished about 80% of it! Real food is hard to find and I’ll never pass El Centro without eating here again. The owner and staff were amazing also!

The decor is *so* charming and the music is a great mix! Bottled Drinks and Beer. Service was special! No hablamos mucho español, she made sure to take care of us! The homemade flour tortillas were phenomenal! Perfect spot for tourists craving some authentic food! The beans and rice were the BEST I’ve ever had! Beautiful flavors in the cheese. We even have leftovers!
