Got a meatball sandwich the other day, it was a solid 4. The roll was nice and soft, the sauce was good but the meatballs did taste like they weren’t homemade, more like restaurant depot frozen. Which is fine because they aren’t that bad just would have thought being an Italian deli they would be.

Roas’s is a staple in Wallingford. They have been in business for so long. And throughout their time here consistency shines through. From the soups, go every time I am feeling a cold come on. Grab some soup. The subs are the best. Be careful of the side cooler, so many sweet treats to tempt you with. I am now hungry. May have to stop in again.

What a fantastic find! We were just driving through on the Merritt Parkway and everything was terrific. Looks like most, if not all are homemade.

Rosa’s Deli has been my favorite place to grab a sandwich for as long as I can remember. Today, I ordered their classic American Combo sandwich without tomato. However, when I opened the sandwich, I was disappointed with the lack of deli meats and cheese in it. One side of my sandwich literally had three slices of deli meat. It’s disappointing, especially considering that the sandwich costs $7.99. Back in the day, when the sandwich was only $3.50, it was PACKED and the best deal in town. I understand that business costs have gone up, but the quality of the food should not decrease if we are expected to pay more.

Stopped in for the first time recently and got an Italian combo sub. Everything tasted really fresh, both veggies and the cold cuts, especially the tomatoes. Nice bread too. Definitely will stop back in!

Hello, i went here bc of the reviews. I was extremely disappointed. I paid$75 for 4 grinders…firstly, there was hardly any meat on the grinders….secondly, the chicken cutlets were pale, had no crunch, not brown… they were awful! Maybe they were microwaved. I’m upset I spent my hard earned money here… not too mention the woman at the register was very flat… and didn’t make any eye contact…I should have walked out…. don’t waste your money. There are so many other places that are well worth it!!!!
