One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve encountered! Strongly advise anyone curious about this new Frederick restaurant to take their business elsewhere.
The waitress made a mistake with the pricing on the daily specials. Therefore, our bill was nearly double the price we expected. We requested that the manager honor the pricing that was provided the entire evening, but he vehemently denied the request. In fact, he was rude and abrasive and stated that we were at fault. The manager went on to explain that instead of trusting the pricing provided by the wait staff, we should have checked the pricing online before coming into the restaurant. This is no way to treat new and interested customers, especially for a newly established restaurant. Don’t waste your time here.

The food was excellent, the service was absolutely terrible. Really the worst service we’ve had in Frederick. The host reported a 15 minute wait when we walked in, and then we waited over half an hour to be seated. We ordered immediately and then didn’t see our again. We waited for over an hour. We flagged down a waitress for more water and she refilled our cups and chips; maybe another 25 minutes later, she brought our food out.
We ended up being there around 2.5 hours, with maybe only 30 minutes of that time spent eating. And the thing is, they weren’t *that* busy…it was a Saturday, and they were crowded, but not so crowded you’d expect that kind of service. It was frustrating because the food was so excellent we wanted to love it, but by the time it came we were both at that point where hunger had turned into a cranky desire to go home.
We may try them again; I really hope the get their act together. If they can figure out how to be a restaurant, I’ll even update my review.

Not sure how new this restaurant is, but their staff need some trainings.
First, there was no hostess. At least 3 people came to ask us if we had been helped while we were waiting for our table. Lots of seats available but we still needed to wait 15 to 20 minutes (I didn’t think those seats were reserved either since there weren’t new people walking in before us, and only one group of 7 arrived when we were done with our meal).
When we were seated, no napkins and no utensils were on the table. We had to ask our waitress to bring those to us when some of us were done with the drinks.
They kept refilling the chips and salsa, but honestly, those chips weren’t that tasty.
The actual food/menu items were good at least, and staff were very friendly.
Has some potentials and hopefully their service will improve after the proper training.

Went with my wife and 10 month old daughter. Terrible service. Terrible food. It must’ve taken an hour to get our tacos. Our drinks were constantly empty. Pretty sure our waiter went out back to Vape every 5 minutes. Believe the other reviews in this thread. The same excuse we got for the LONG delay was that the kitchen was backed up. But, the place was lightly attended. How does a kitchen get backed up when over half the place is empty? Not sure, but somehow this joint figured it out. I give them until November 2019 to fold.

First (and last) visit after viewing Christmas lights on Carroll Creek. No server showed up for 20 minutes. Had started looking for other restaurants with openings. Finally a server from far end of restaurant took our drinks and food order. Single shining employee. 2 or 3 servers had been stepping around our table the whole time, avoiding two closed menus and eye contact. Chips and salsa only so-so. Entrees good, but not extraordinary. Won’t be back. Way too many good restaurants in Frederick. Been open a year, so not brand new place sorting things out.

Horrible experience- We were seated outside immediately, however it took them 20 minutes to realize we were seated and say hello. After placing an order for some tacos and margaritas we got the margs about 20 minutes later (which were not half bad) but continued to wait another hour and a half for some tacos. It shouldn’t take an hour and a half for some tacos. While waiting we heard multiple people ask to be seated and walk away, discouraged by the “backup of the kitchen.” So we left and went to Blue Side for a beer, app, and dinner (all delicious and served within a half hour). Overall word of advice, downtown Frederick has better to offer. Good luck making the cut Roro’s. Or you could just clear up some prime real estate for something worthwhile.

The food was very good but the service was not the greatest. It was not even busy when we were at the restaurant and our waiter literally forgot about us. He had us sitting there for almost 15 minutes before finally coming to our table and told us that he forgot about us even though we were the only table seated in the dining room at the time. Had to flag waiters town for refills and just for anything. There are many other great options in frederick especially for Mexican food. Do yourself the favor and try somewhere else.
