Went down during the first week and for it being their opening they sure did an amazing job. Love the store and how everything is set up. They offer a variety of menu options and also sell freshly made already packaged juices in their cooler. Got the small Pitaya bowl and everything was fresh and well put together. Also tried the Sweet Green smoothie and it didn’t disappoint. Looking forward to visiting again.

Simply the best açaí bowls and smoothies around! The restaurant is super clean and very atheistically decorated. If you haven’t tried it yet I highly recommend! ❤️

I absolutely love these bowls. They are delicious. I order the same thing a few times a week. The last two times I ordered my bowls are supposed to be large and are not full the entire way. I am not sure if new people are now making them. I don’t mind paying for the large and I love the food, but I expect more consistency especially when I am ordering a few times a week and I am paying for a large bowl.

Delicious smoothies and bowls. The Chocolate smoothie was very good. The Almond Joy bowl got thumbs up as well. Very quick service. Friendly staff. Only a few tables so get there early if you’re dining in!

Great staff and smoothies/bowls. They are super helpful when substituting ingredients for vegans and/or allergies which is much appreciated! Adorable little place to sit and look out at Central Park if you have time!

It’s fun to have a bright happy smoothie place in a town as Johnstown.
Only drawbacks: they encase their sandwiches in a plastic clamshell instead of using something more eco friendly. If I had known this I would have opted to have it in waxed paper or something other. There are so many other eco friendly choices.. why this plastic????
Also they list a price for their fresh juices in the cold case but they then charged many more dollars for the juice from what the posted sign indicated which confused me.
Other than that, I’m glad they’re there and will come back and ask for a sandwich without the plastic. Green smoothie was wonderful …. But in plastic also, oh dear.

Purchased a “Creamsicle” drink and it was lite, refreshing, a perfect balance of vanilla/orange. It took me back..time stood still…to growing up enjoying an orange Popsicle on a hot summer day. A time when all was good and peaceful. Thanks Roots for that moment in time!
