Alicia was so sweet. It was our first time there an she gave us her recommendations. Absolutely delicious. They have great options. Authentic Hawaiian flavor. We ordered the Garlic shrimp delicious huge portions also ordered chicken katsu an khaluhu pig very moist flavorful. Again alot of food not too pricey. They have meal deal on smaller portions. I will definitely be returning. I also love the fact that they are family owned so you see the same faces an get to know the people who are cooking your food.

A very cozy place! The staff is super friendly and the food was delicious! Come hungry, the portions are big! I had the Loco Maco. Just thinking about it, makes my mouth water.

First time trying Hawaiian food and was pleasantly surprised. Party of 3 and we decided to try a bit of everything. Lumpia pic not included but we tried as well. The proteins were very delicious, Mac salad was not our fav. And we weren’t a fan of the lumpia but overall enjoyed trying this restaurant and we will definitely come back again.

– I happened to pass this place on a business trip to Colorado Springs, and I’m really glad I did. Aloha is proudly served here, right from the moment you walk in. The staff are warm, and the family running the place greets you with a big smile.
They helped me pick a meal that matched my curiosity and appetite—half loco moco and half Kalua pork. The flavors were fantastic, tasting like a sunny day in Hawaii.

It’s a tiny spot with no outdoor seating, but it’s clear this place is cared for with love. Cozy, welcoming, and totally authentic. If you’re ever in Colorado Springs, give it a shot. It’s a little gem that transports you to the islands.

Parking – typical downtown parking, can be hard to find but there is a paid lot right next to it.

Food – got 2 mixed plates for lunch:

Loco moco – very tasty, the gravy is delicious and the hamburger steak was cooked well. If you like loco moco this is a must try! Would get again. Overall rating 5/5.

Chicken katsu – was a little unevenly cooked, some pieces were much more overdone than others. Sauce is good. Chicken was crispy and still tasty, would probably get again. Overall rating 4/5.

Kalbi ribs – delicious, one of the favorites here. Cooked well and nice sized pieces. Would get again. Overall rating 5/5.

Mac salad side – came with the mixed plates. Pretty good, not too creamy but still had some good flavor, good portion size.

This tiny gem is huge on flavor and service. Their food is made with love and you taste it in every bite. You’re greeted with a huge “aloha” from the staff. Food is made fresh and your wait is minimal. I can’t wait to get through the whole menu. Everything we had was amazing but that Mac Salad is unbelievable!

I had tried other Hawaiian chains, but they don’t compare to this! I love getting their chicken katsu, it’s so crispy and delicious and their spam musubi is so flavorful! And the Mac salad is perfection. Staff is so friendly and so welcoming! Highly recommend.

We ate here a few weeks ago and enjoyed the food. For anyone who has been in the Springs for a while, you likely know of Taco Del Rey, which is the building that this little Hawaiian place is now in (Taco Del Rey was in this tiny little building for something like 45 years).

Parking is the usual, miserable, metered downtown parking – I avoid going downtown whenever possible because I can’t stand it…but that’s no fault of the restaurant.

The building is absolutely tiny, so seating is extremely limited and simple (most of their business is carry-out, I’m sure), but what was there was clean and tidy.

The food was good and cooked to order by the owner. My wife saw a certain kind of rice on a review and asked what that was and we found out that that was a “hidden menu” item that they have!! (A little bit of In And Out Burger style going on, there!) I don’t know if it’s always available and probably not supposed to get out into public, but the owner was willing to make that rice for my wife and she loved it – a huge step over basic white steamed rice. I had the Kalua Pig, which is what I almost always order at Hawaiian places, and it was very good. My wife had Kalbi and it was also delicious. The Spam Musubi was ok, but not my kind of thing (I thought the seaweed wrap was fishy-tasting), and we were a little let down by the dessert – we got their last piece of Choc-mac Banana Bread and we felt it was a oittle dry and lacking in flavor.

Anyway, I love little family-run places and this one is doing a great job with theirs. I wish them all the success and we’ll certainly be back again!
