So happy my daughter and I stopped here. Loved all the plants on the walls and the menu was quite diverse with heaps of options and I was super pleased of the economical prices for what was offered! The staff were warm and very welcoming and answered my questions about the stellar menu. We don’t live in Medford, but Rooted will be our go-to spot to eat when we return. Thanks Rooted!

Overall I love this place!! Friendly staff, good music, and fantastic food. Today, unfortunately just wasn’t the day.. they were slightly busy, but not struggling to get orders out. I usually get a burrito, but today I ordered the Kimchi bowl to-go. It was DRENCHED in sauce, like so saucy that it could’ve been soup I was really hoping to save half of it for lunch tomorrow. I went on an afternoon with a friend and ordered the special which was an incredible nacho mix with mushrooms and cashew cheese. It was one of the best meals that I’ve had in a very long time. What really impressed me about this place is that it is all 100% vegan so you never have to worry about what you’re ordering bc it’s always going to be good. The service was incredible. Twice somebody stopped by our table to ask how we were doing and how we enjoyed the food and if we needed anything else. The atmosphere of the place was extremely pleasant with houseplants and decor spread out in a timeless manner. I highly recommend this restaurant whenever you’re in the Medford area.

Rooted is a great little gem that needs to be known as a fantastic meal destination. All vegan and vegetarian options here we had the not yo mommas nachos and split it three ways and filled up all of us. It was the special for the day at $16.50 and worth every penny. I will make this a regular place for my family

I’m writing this mid-bite because their food is just TOO good not to talk about.
I ordered the chickpea melt, and I’ve never had something so perfectly balanced, toasted, and delicious while still being vegan.
I also ordered the lemon blueberry cupcake, which is so moist and tasty. The vibe is laid back, bob marley tunes in the background, and a very clean, modern, earthy aesthetic. I’d post more pictures of how nice the atmosphere it, but there’s quite a few customers here for lunch on a Saturday.
With a planet fitness gym nearby, this is the BEST pre/post-workout spot. 10/10.

Great atmosphere and good service. I ordered a burrito and it was smaller than I expected, lacked flavor, chickpeas and potatoes tasted dry and wasn’t very warm. I do want to try again since the reviews say the food is great.

We got some burritos to go. The food is good quality and price reflects it. The burrito is heafty, couldn’t eat in one sitting. Unfortunately there was some mistake with one of our items and our order came out 30min later, after several other customers who ordered after us received their food. I wish they would have communicated this with us so we can choose to leave the item and hit the road since we had things to do during our stay. Probably won’t come back just because of my wasted time and pricy food.

My wife and I ate here the other day being new to Vegan and it was AMAZING!! So many delicious sounding things on the menu. So what we did was share two different dishes. I really loved the amount of food you get for the price! We still took leftovers of each item home. In the picture on the left is the “Buddha” Bowl and the right is the “Rooted Nachos”. Both were SUPER DELICIOUS and it’s going to make it hard to try other stuff in the future. We already were talking about going there and trying other things while we were there . Thank you for the YUMMY food, friendly service and cozy atmosphere. We look forward to coming back

Ordered a gluten free burrito. Did NOT get a gluten free tortilla. I’ve been in excruciating pain for two days from gluten exposure.
If someone orders an allergen-friendly item, it NEEDS to be allergen friendly. Most of us aren’t out here ordering it for fun. For a restaurant that claims to be all about food sensitivities, this is embarrassing. Do better.
The only reason they’re getting 2 stars is the nachos were incredible. But y’all still glutened me, so…
