Finally came to try the new chicken joint in town. Nice place, chicken tenders were good 4/5, fries were alright little soggy by the time we got home3.5/5. Mac n cheese was good could of used more in the cup looks like they forgot some3/5. Shakes were 0 out of 5 would not recommend didn’t fill the shakes all the way and the quality not the worth the money imo. Culvers has a way better shake for that money. 2 adults meals, a kids meal, side of mac and two shakes. 58$ Little pricey for fast food.

If so say it’s the best spicy chicken sandwich in the Illinois Valley however I’m not sure if anyone else offers one. I’m not a real fan of coleslaw on the sandwich though but it didn’t really hurt it for me. The fries they serve are I’m pretty sure stolen from an Arby’s truck and then straightened. They taste exactly the same as curly fries. They also don’t give you a single extra sauce, and they are 50 cents each which is pretty bad when getting a combo basket. There are at least a lot of fries in the basket. They also don’t really heat the dining room very much either so it’s somewhat cold inside.

First time there on Sunday was greeted right away. Ordered the boneless wings 24 of them and loaded fries and 2 milkshakes. Got the shakes in a few minutes and tried them WOW they were amazing very creamy and tasty. Got home with order and all was delicious. My son loved the loaded fries. Wings were good size Will go back. Prices were good.

Used the drive thru lane for my first time at Roosty’s. Ordered the loaded fries with spicy chicken, pickles and sauce. Very good and messy! Overall service was spot on and I will return again.

Very busy on Sunday night, but still had reasonably quick service. Seemed a little pricey but the quality and quantity made the price seem appropriate. If you are in the area check them out for some good chicken.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out since they opened. I’ve been hesitant since I’ve seen a pretty high amount of bad reviews, but yesterday my daughter and I went in. The first thing I had to say is WOW….expensive! For 1 sandwich, an order of mozzarella sticks, and a medium drink it was $25. Speaking of money, what kind of establishment asks for a tip when it’s essentially a fast food joint? That’s crazy. The girl taking our order was super nice tho. We sat down to eat and with the sandwich I was disappointed. The Mac n cheese on it looked old. The chicken itself wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had, but their Roosty’s sauce definitely wasn’t very good. The sandwich overall was pretty bad. My daughter got the Nashville hot mozzarella sticks. I didn’t try them but they looked awful. My daughter is obsessed with mozzarella sticks….she had 3 of the 6 and said she didn’t want anymore. The atmosphere was whatever. There was only 2 girls inside eating with the rest of the people ordering to go or picking up for DoorDash. Near the end when we were ready to leave there were some high school kids who seemed to not know how to not be in the way of people trying to get through. Final thoughts…WAY overpriced for some really bad quality food. We won’t be going back.

The place is getting alot of buzz and rightfully so. I got a #1 with Mac and cheese as well. It was all good. Mac was cold but still good. As long as the quality stays up as the buzz dies down it’s a 5 star place all day long. One of the best chicken sandwich experiences for sure.

I went there with an open mind and an appetite for what I thought would be a great experience, but was I surprised. The kids they have there don’t know what they’re doing, that’s managements fault. The chicken was like a sponge that was soaked in oil , so I guess the kitchen workers were not trained properly in how to cook chicken. I will not recommend this place for those reasons.
