We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

This place is a must restaurant to visit if you are in Downtown Charlotte!
The host was welcoming and we were an hour early but the dining room still busy so we decided to stay on the first floor by the bar for our dinner.
The place was nice, not formal but more casual vibe.
Everything that we ordered from the braised short rib, hanger steak, collard greens with bacons, wood fired chicken, scallop potatoes, French fries, even their homemade ice cream and apple butter pie oh my word, so delicious!
All the kids and even us adults love the food here. We love the food so much we ended up ordering their wood fired pizza for take out dinner the next day.
Way to go Rooster’s wood fired kitchen for our awesome dinner. From appetizer, main course, and desserts made our belly happy 🙂

We booked this restaurant for New Years eve. The table seating was very nice and they have tables right outside the door (inside). I had flank steak with mac and cheese and tomato soup. I also had white wine (selections are great). Our waiter Tim H was friendly and attentive along with the other staff. Very nice experience.

We visited this location for the first time and get the food was just about average. Overall, the quality and the creativity of the food do not match the price they charge. The mac & cheese that my son received wasn’t in a skillet and didn’t have cheese melted on top. The cob salad I had tasted blend as the champagne vinaigrette didn’t seem to have much of any flavors. I’m willing to give this place another chance since its rotisserie chicken is what the wait staff raved about.

Came here on a whim and I’m so glad that we did! For one, we did not have a reservation for our party of 5 however they did not hesitate to work to accommodate us even though their dinning room was booked. We were seated within 10 minutes. Our server Jeff, was absolutely phenomenal! He gave us great suggestions and made sure we had everything we needed. We were also serviced by some great people who would pass by our table during their runs just to keep things tidy. The service who is unmatched! The food is even better; the chicken (smoked wings, wood fired) were both SO good. The rigatoni was authentic. The au gratin was phenomenal. The onion rings were very yummy. And The burger looked delicious. Overall 10/10 experience, I will be back when im in the area again!

The service was fantastic. I made a reservation a few days before and mentioned that we’re celebrating our anniversary, and from the moment we stepped in until we left, the service was top notch. Different employees were congratulating us and checking on us throughout the evening to make sure we had everything we need. I wanna give a shot out to Kelsea for taking care of us that night and making sure it was special.

I had an absolutely delightful dinner at Rooster Restaurant, and it’s easily one of my new favorite spots! The star of the show was their rotisserie chicken. The French fries were another highlight. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right, they were the perfect complement to the chicken. I couldn’t stop reaching for more! The service was friendly and attentive, with staff checking in just enough to make us feel cared for without being intrusive. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, ideal for a casual night out.

Hubby and I stopped by for date night. We both ordered a Caesar salad and were pleasantly surprised to see anchovies! The flavor was fantastic and definitely worth ordering again. All the food we ordered was exceptionally good, especially the duck breast, which was cooked evenly and perfectly. Drinks were great and not overly sweet like some other restaurants. Service was fantastic, Matthew was very attentive and friendly. Overall, we are very happy with our experience and will definitely be back!
