Absolutely amazing!! The food, the service, the atmosphere, the vibe. 10 out of 10. Will recommend to everyone i know. It was my nieces birthday and they made it extra special. Fantastic y’all! Madison was our server and she completely rocked it.

We had a very nice dinner at Roosters last night. Food and service was great. The El Toro Burrito was amazing, definitely one of the best burritos I’ve had. Would definitely return to try more items.

Had the El Toro. Wasn’t bad but it didn’t wow me. The queso blanco was quite rich. This is the only Mexican restaurant I went to where they charge you for tortilla, and they also don’t give you salsa. 4% if you pay by cash.

The place looked great, but I’m not sure that the food was worthy of the price it cost.
It wasn’t bad by any means, but I wouldn’t want to pay what I did to get it. I also was not a fan of the tortilla chips, personally. Too thick and almost bready.
My friend and her family love this place though (she was here and she downed her whole plate before everyone else), so I certainly don’t speak for everyone in sharing my thought on this one.
Loved the exterior and interior design. Lots of hanging decor, wall decorations of various items, a hot sauce bar, wall decor in the bathroom, and neon lights outside when it gets dark! They also have outdoor and indoor seating!
I’d say if you like Mexican food, it’s at least worth a shot!

Delicious Vegan taco options! So fresh with lots of flavor and beautiful color! Service was awesome, she kept checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. I loved the interior and atmosphere. There’s a hot sauce and salsa bar with every hot sauce you could ever need. Salsa wasn’t spicy enough for me but I think that’s the norm for spicy in the region. So I appreciate the plethora of hot sauce available. The portions were perfect, no skimping on the fillings. This was a great stop.

My family has visited Roosters many times over the last few years and is hands down the best place to get some good grub! The food is always flavorful and the environment is fun for the entire family. Highly recommend!!

Went down on a busy Saturday night while artists in the park was on display. No street parking, only parking garage in rear at a cost of $10-25. Waitress was not dressed very professionally but atmosphere was very casual. Waitress was not patient with new customers. Restaurant was hot and sweaty. Chips and salsa was not bottomless and was saltless and very bland. Customer ant the table ordered guacamole dip, no salt and chips were very thick. Owner personally heated up some chips for one of the customers with me at my table and confessed he didn’t have the proper equipment to keep the chips warm, it was ordered. After we got the new chips, we felt sorry for the other customers that were being served cold, thick, and bland chips. Brisket Burrito was good, split in two as a courtesy. Manager only compensated for the bland guacamole and offered no other refunds/menu changes for the meal. Felt the meal was over priced under seasoned and not worth the jog downtown. 2/10 stars

The Torta was unique and quite flavorful. Enjoyed the mellow atmosphere and professional chefs. Was not planning on Mexican in Mobile, but was glad I stoped in.

Saw Roosters on all kinds of dining lists for Mobile, so had to try it out. We were not disappointed! Went for dinner around 5 on a Saturday night and it was half full, no problem finding a table. Couple tables outside on a small patio, too. Staff were friendly, and food was ready in good time. Note that you cannot mix and match individual tacos for a taco plate if you want the deal!
Ordered a Rooster Sunrise margarita, 2 chorizo tacos, 1 jerk chicken taco, 2 al pastor tacos, and sides of plantains and chips w/ queso. All were excellent. Loved that they have a hot sauce and toppings bar to further customize, too. The plaintains on the chorizo tacos were inspired!

I am trying to comprehend why I was charged $12.50 for two small flour tortillas, shredded pork, onions, and cilantro. The excess juice from the pork made the little tortillas soggy. The meat barely had flavor.
Their food is far from being authentic and it is extremely overpriced.
