I love places with small, simple menus. That’s when you know that what they make is gonna be extraordinary. Just a fantastic tasting smash burger. Best in town. The chicken nuggets were just as good. Really tasting coating and fried to perfection. Def recommend this place.

Stopped in with the family after a trip to the kids’ museum and found this amazing burger spot thanks to EatLocalNewYork on Instagram — and wow, it did not disappoint. The smash burgers were fantastic, the fries were perfectly crispy, and the customer service and music made the whole vibe even better. The owner even came out to greet us and hooked us up with a couple of their rooster sauces for our fries, which were super flavorful. We’ll definitely be back. Already looking forward to our next visit.

First stop as we rolled into Utica ny. Right away when walking in met with a greeting from the workers, love that! It was my wife, my 4 children and myself. Food was very very very good. They do it right here and keep it simple! I got classic and the sweet burger with the fig jam. The classic I had as a chopped cheese and was extremely please. The Figgy i had as a single and if you like the sweet oversavory this is your burger…. The bread was freshly baked at a local bakery and all ingredients they use are local. My kids had burgers as well and loved them and my 1 child had the chicken nuggets that she loved. After speaking to the owner I was very happy we chose this place and cant wait to go back for seconds and thirds before we have to journey back home.

First time here. The man taking the order was kind, and the employees seemed to enjoy their jobs.
Went around 5 on a Saturday. No line. I got the Rooster burger. It was really good. If I knew how small it was going to be though, I would have ordered the double. I liked the Rooster sauce. Definitely different. The fries were decent, crispy.
I would have liked different chairs to sit on. These were hard metal ones.
The music was interesting. Not sure what it was. Had like Jamaican vibes lol.
If I was in the Utica area I would go back.

Was looking for a breakfast sandwich when I came in. They don’t do that. But Javon walked me through the simple menu, recommended a burger and I’m so glad he did. The Figgy Burger with bacon was terrific. Will definitely go again.

We were in town from Rochester and stopped for a bite to eat – This place is great!! Burgers are cooked perfectly, fries are light and crispy, rooster sauce is on point. Javon makes you feel right at home. Will definitely be back

Roosters is definitely a go to for me and one of my favorite restaurants for a quick burger. The staff are friendly and the food is cooked fresh. I myself would recommend getting the figgy burger the last thing I thought I’d be putting on a burger was fig sauce, but it has changed my life.

So good! The bread is so soft and pairs beautifully with the burgers. The fries were seasoned perfectly. The owner is attentive and friendly. Overall fantastic experience and lunch.

They’ve moved and still SO GOOD. My husband and I have moved out of the area and miss Rooster’s so much. I had an appointment in Utica and had to stop in to day hi and grab lunch. Consistent and delicious as always.

Great place to get a burger! Owner was great and we talked briefly about the business. Fresh rolls brought in daily, sauce was good and burger had a nice crust on it. Had the Rooster double and will go back to try the Figgy! Limited menu done right! Highly recommend!
