Skips to the door with my bestie in our fall best. A table for two outside please.
The assortment of options for beverages is vast but sorry I’m traditional. Bottle service and two plain juices. Mimosas with a laugh of juice.
The food descriptions sounded promising. The good was okay.
Let’s be honest, but we’re here for the river n sunshine.
Recommend for brunch.

I had a good time there with my husband. We ordered happy hour Margaritas. I had the calamari as an appetizer. Let me just say I take tartar sauce seriously and wouldn’t have ordered the Calamari had I known they didn’t have tartar sauce. But the Calamari did not disappoint, it was seasoned to perfection and the sauce that came with it was ok. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger that looked really good. He said it was extra tasty. . I also ordered the steak nachos. They were good. Just what I needed to soak up some of the tequila. Overalls good experience and great ambiance. Definitely would go back. There was a love musician setting up but I was not in the mood to wait.

Breakfast YUM! Cute place and nice atmosphere with delicious food! I had the veggie Benedict which was flavorful and plentiful. My husband had the chile verde omelette which was extremely delicious and made with love. We went back for dinner and they didn’t disappoint. We had the happy hour carnitas tacos, guacamole, and chile verde fries were plentiful, delicious and a great price.

I had a good experience at Roosters On The River overall. The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the salad and fries. However, the taco wasn’t up to the standard I expected—it lacked seasoning and didn’t stand out like the other dishes. The service was friendly and fairly quick, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed.

Came here for my brother in law’s birthday and the place is beautiful it’s right next to the river and you have a great view. The service was great our waitress was really nice and attentive. I had the CrossFit skillet. It was good but lacked flavor, it comes with country potatoes and usually those are small but these were huge. Since there is an egg shortage they’ll only give you 2 eggs sadly. I had flan for dessert and it was so delicious it came with yummy strawberries :3
The portions are quite big which is a plus, the price for any of the meals runs you around $15+

Was just lit for a walk and stopped by. Very glad I did. Have the Monte Cristo it was really good And the homemade jam that was served with it was over the top I would really recommend this place Sitting alfresco out on the balcony for serendipitous lunch is peak retirement five stars

I’ll start with the positives The ambiance is perfect for a breakfast and lunch spot. It’s bright and open, and you can’t go wrong being on the river. The service was on point, we sat at the bar upstairs and our server/bartender Ashley was very friendly, full of smiles, and happy to explain the drink menu. The downside is the food. Bland flavor but also over salted. I had the breakfast enchiladas, and even though it looked good, it definitely was not. Dry chicken and tasteless green sauce that was super salty. The beans have zero flavor, and the cilantro rice is also dry and flavorless. The chilaquiles lacked sauce, and they were as dry as everything else. It came with a tiny slice of tough meat that was close to being beef jerky. Also, nothing we ate was hot. It was room temperature. I hate giving negative food reviews, but it was comparable to Denny’s. But, by all means, just the location alone is reason to go there. Just don’t expect to be impressed by the food. I saw many people ordering the giant mimosas, which have two full bottles of champagne for $60. It’s worth the experience on a Sunday morning watching football, drinking, and just hanging out.

In a word: atmosphere.
I love the atmosphere at this restaurant! The beautiful bar is hand made by the owner. However, the breakfast items leaves a lot to be desired! The waffle I ordered was sent back as inedible as it was heavy enough to kill someone if you threw it at their head lol. Also, don’t order the hot link as it was cooked too hard and it was tasteless. My husband ordered the chili verde and when he got it he ate it in two bites because it was so sparse he couldn’t really enjoy it. Men like lots of food and that item is not going to satisfy him! Skip their breakfast and go for the lunch as they have better tasting options.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Roosters on the River, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything perfect. The food (I had the chilaquiles) was served hot and was absolutely delicious. The mimosas were the perfect complement to the meal, refreshing and perfectly balanced. Their mimosa menu options are perfect.
The ambiance of Roosters is simply delightful. The décor is charming and cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. River views and tasteful furnishings make it the perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast (I stopped by around 9-11AM). The background music was just right, adding to the overall pleasant experience without being intrusive. Whether you’re looking for a quiet morning alone or a lively brunch with friends, Rooster’s on the River is fantastic.
I highly recommend Roosters on the River for anyone looking to enjoy a great breakfast with top-notch service in a beautiful setting. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This was our 3rd time there. The 1st time was the best. The service was great and the food was pretty good. The 2nd time they sat us upstairs at the not used bar and promptly forgot us. The enchilada sauce was old, dry and super spicy because it was yesterday’s left overs. I ordered French toast bites because I couldn’t eat the previous food. It took 30 minutes and I had to find a supervisor. She got us our ticket. The 3rd time was horrendously bad. My husband is allergies to tomatoes. When my food came out the server kinda dropped my plate which had a small dish of salsa on it. It splashed everything on the table. The server seen it and I asked for a remake. No joke he was gone for less than 5 minutes and brought out the same food on a different plate (maybe) or he just tried to wipe it off but left the knife with a huge glob of salsa on it. I pointed this out and he was very put out. This steak breakfast is $30 BTW. He takes it away and 3 minutes later come back with the same food, knife and a supervisor. ( the same one that helped us last visit) they acted like the food was new and the splatters of tomatoes were not still present. Litteraly we paid for $90 worth of food that we didn’t eat. They have a policy they don’t remove items off the ticket. This place has lost our business and I’m worried how many people with allergies are being made sick. Good luck.
