I love coming here, I had the chicken tenders meal and they are huge, and come with tasty honey mustard sauce. They are puppy friendly, and have extra seating inside bldg corridor I guess u can call it lol; I sat out there so my dog wouldn’t be disturbing everyone but he did well lol . They’re located in Fondren area and the only con is finding parking. You may have to swing block but I’ve always been able to park somewhere, there are other buildings with ample parking nearby as well so good luck!

We decided to stop for lunch. It didn’t disappoint! The servers were nice and friendly. The food was fantastic, had flavor, impressed with the crunchiness. I will say, the chicken was not piping hot when it arrived but it was appreciated so we could dig into the food. Fries were crunchy, cheesy grits are highly recommended along with red beans and rice.

Great food. The short African American lady had an attitude last week when they first opened. Idk what was wrong with her, maybe bc she had to sweep and some of the floor was dirty. Nashville chicken sliders good. Bacon burger good too. The older Caucasian lady was very nice.

Delicious cooked to order food! Was in town and stopped in for a late lunch. Our party had the Fried Chicken Club (served slider style), chicken tenders, and the Bacon Cheeseburger (8 oz). Everything was wonderful, deeelish, hot, and perfect. The onion rings were also tasty. Oh, do yourself a favor and get the banana pudding – it’s sooooo good! Will definitely come back the next time we’re in town.

Rooster’s has some of the best chicken in the Jackson area. One of my favorites is the Smothered Chicken and Grits.
I have had many items off of the menu, and all have been great. The hot hot chicken sandwich served slider style is fantastic as well.
If you hit them up right at noon, you may have a longer wait, but it’s well worth it.

Being born on the year of the Rooster, the Rooster’s was a no-brainer for me. The staff was really nice and helpful. The food was alright. We had to add the condiments to our sandwiches. We parked at the Post Office across the street from the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and the tables were spread out, so there was a lot of room between the tables. Oh, the onion rings were really delicious.
