The breakfast was good. The server we had was mediocre. I don’t think the ac was working properly because it was really warm in there.

I’m only posting because we couldn’t eat there because it was closed. It was not posted on Google. We drove 2 miles to get there, and they had a handwritten sign saying they weren’t open. If someone is from out of town and they wanted to have a local experience, it should be posted on Google that they are closed. Not let people drive all the way there just to be disappointed.

The food is amazing. On the weekend AJ’s has a breakfast buffet you just can’t beat. As far as the service, Tracie was our waitress and she was on top of her game. She never let our drinks run empty and she was always there when we needed something. A++++ Restaurant. Will eat there again soon.

I have loved The red rooster since the first time I walked in the building. The small country cafe is well known for their delicious food and mom and pop style dining. Not to mention every order is made fresh when you order it! This done mean there are wait times, approximately 5-15 minutes depending of customer volume. They offer lunch and breakfast during the cafe’s regular hours. You may also want to check out their lunch bar as an option opened on Tuesday-Friday (only), and their breakfast bar served on Saturday and Sunday (only).
The business is currently being ran by Angela curtsinger again and I’d like to say this is overall an amazing place to eat! Your taste buds will miss it when you leave! The customer service is great, and the environment is so friendly. Worth a try for a meal your swear your momma made.

My sisters and I stopped in for a bite while in town for an unfortunate event. The environment was very clean, but playful. The food was cook to perfection, I can say this is the first restaurant to make green fried tomatoes like my mom! Thank you ladies for being so kind and caring! Saturday morning breakfast bar was good included country ham, bacon, two types of sausage, several potato options, etc. I would have liked a cheese option… cheese sauce or grated cheese but I probably could have just asked for some. Service was good. Coffee was weak.

We did the weekend breakfast buffet. Some of the food felt like it was on a hotel continental breakfast and not from a local cafe.

Great food and service. The food is excellent, good variety, daily buffet. Saturday’s they offer a wonderful breakfast buffet all day. The waitresses are all very friendly and helpful. A++++ and you can order breakfast all day.

Should never have to ask for food to be put on the bar every time you go in to dine. Hot food hot and cold food cold ill be in today to see if they charge this. A glass or cup should never be empty. Server should never smell like a cigarette when they come to serve you.ever. Nasty! Food is OK for food they need to clean more and be more understanding to those they serve thanks for reading

Best food and service in Danville. Delicious Fried Green Tomatoes, homemade meatloaf, cherry cobbler, Derby pie and many other down home family favorites. Our server Cheryl was sweet and attentive to our every needs.
