Great Knoxville sports bar! A little off the beaten path in the Rocky Hill area off Northshore Drive, but not far from West Town Mall/Kingston Pike and totally worth a visit! Great atmosphere and cool sports bar feel without being too divey. Pretty large for a neighborhood bar with lots of different sections and places to sit. There’s at least three separate bars, as well as an enclosed kind of patio and an open air covered patio. Food is really good and good drink special specials. I went for lunch and had the roosters chicken sandwich, which was great! Lots of TVs, which of course is key. This is a smoking bar so know that going in, but it doesn’t smell too bad. I could see this place being a pretty fun hangout, especially on big game days!

Okay so I really wanted to give roosters a two stars but, I went on a very busy weekend so I wanted to give a little bit of Grace.
Is very crowded. When we entered there was not seat so we stood at the bar to order drinks. We were meeting people they showed up and we found a table outside next to what was clearly throw up on the ground that had not been cleaned from the night before.
Granted, I know they hit the ground running that day because it was so busy. However, I did not feel like it was clean, I did not necessarily feel like I wanted to go back.
With all of that said, I will definitely go back. I will give it a second try and if it’s better I will amend my rating. I really hope it is a better experience. I have friends that love to go to roosters. I’m not necessarily a fan of smoke so it was my first visit. They do have a smoking and non-smoking area which really makes it a smoking area. Lol.
I did not have food and I didn’t stay long so I will be going back and I will update when I do so!

The wings were great! The traditional wings are large and saucy. I wasn’t sure if 5 would be enough, but after having the appetizer, it was plenty! I had the mild sauce. The other items ordered were honey BBQ boneless wings and traditional smoked wings with no sauce. The traditional wings were very good, even without sauce. The boneless wings didn’t have enough sauce and were average. The ranch dipping sauce was watery, and I do not recommend it. We ordered the basket of onion rings. There were plenty to share, but they were bland and barely average. I do suggest you try the soft pretzels with the Rotel cheese dip. They were fantastic! Our server was prompt and friendly. If you are looking for wings and want a place to watch a football game, stop in! Something worth mentioning is that the restaurant is divided into sections. There is a smoking side and a nonsmoking side. We came in on the smoking side, but once we were on the other side, we couldn’t tell there was a smoking section. There is an entrance to each.

Cool spot. BAD SERVICE VERY BAD SERVICE. There was only 2 people sitting at the bar and the place was empty. We had to keep trying to flag down our waitress which was also the bartender. She was very rude when our party of 5 wanted to ask a questions about food and drink specials. Walked away rolling her eyes while we were in the middle of ordering. This was just the tip of the ice berg.

Had the grilled shrimp salad. Best salad I’ve had any where in a long time! Service was attentive without hovering. Prices are great. Glad we stopped by with the trip. Only thing I didn’t like is allowing smoking inside but at least had a room to get out of most of the stench.
