First and last time got two ten wing combos sat for 45 min waiting to be served cuz our server was translating for another table and the four other servers stood there and made rude comments about their other staff and left us sitting then we only get 7 wings each as we take our meal too go. Ridiculous for the amount spent.

Editing to clarify the waitresse who did serve us was wonderful and was clearly busy running circles around the other waitresses. She had a black bun I didn’t catch her name, props to her.

This was my favorite wing place back in my college days. (They used to have quarter wings AND beers!!) I was nervous to try it after 20 years away, because I didn’t think it could possibly be as amazing as it was in the early 2000’s. IT IS!!

Best wings ever!! Amazing sauces along the whole spectrum of heat. Great sides. The current owners bought 10-15 years ago and it has not changed in the least except location. It has the same amazing food and relaxed, fun vibe.

The wings are very big, meaty, and juicy. If you like your wings more well-done, make sure that you let them know how you like them. Amazing staff. I can’t wait to go back for a Mystic Biscuit that one of the owners was telling me about.

On a work trip from Denver stopped by after hearing so much about this place. It did not disappoint Jill the bartender was very friendly and made some solid recommendations. If you want a good wing with solid service plus a good atmosphere check this place out.

I have not been in to this location since I moved away a few years back. The wings and the sauces are always on point and they still are. My only complaint would be the menu still says beer battered fries, they definitely were not the Brew City beer battered fries they used to have.

It was a Sunday and we were interested in watching The evening NFL game as we ate. The server was very nice but couldn’t figure out how to get the game on. Was told they just switched TV providers. Hopefully they have this resolved now

I’ve also been saying this for years it would be awesome if they would bring back the all you can eat bone in wings!!!!!

Very casual place with good food choices. We always stop here on trips to Junction and haven’t been disappointed any time. Love the amount of flavors you can get for your chicken, and love that they have the option of bone in or out. Highly recommend the Venom sauce or the Golden Phoenix, and definitely get the loaded baked potato fries. Good spot to stop with family or friends, they always have sports playing on the TV and even a little arcade game for the kids. Service is always friendly and attentive.

Tried Roosters for the first time while visiting from out of town. We ordered fried pickles, fries, and bone in wings. The fried pickles were pretty decent and the fries were really good. They had this really yummy blend of spices and fry sauce. As for the wings we got all the wings with the hot sauce which had good flavor but the sauce seemed really “soupy” and didn’t stick to the wings very well. The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant felt pretty clean.

Wings were tiny and VERY undercooked. Waiter never stopped in to check on us (no refills) and we waited 25 minutes for drinks. The bartender had no problem pouring drinks for the kitchen staff though who all took a 5 minute break together to huddle around and BS while the dining room sat around waiting for service. Came in to avoid the ridiculous 18% takeout fee and now I just think it was a mistake to come here at all. Roosters used to be one of the best places in town for a reliable quick eat. What happened? I don’t mean to dog on the staff because i’m sure somebody in the building gives a hoot, but apparently none of those people worked the last 2 times i’ve come in. To top it all off, even after I sent my wings back for a new batch that wasn’t raw, I still ended up getting extremely sick! I checked out their health scores with MCPH out of curiosity, and it’s no wonder why. They have violations out the wahoo, particularly in regards to improper handling and cross contamination. What a shame. Love to give local businesses my money, but I won’t ever gamble with my health again for a place like this. If management truly cares about this place, they oughta start acting like it.

Wings are great of course.. The French Dip isn’t that good at all, its small & pretty dry. But the service was great inspire of the place being incredibly busy.

We were in Grand Junction for night and we were craving for chicken wings. We searched nearby and by seeing good reviews we decided to have food at Roosters.
Roosters is an amazing chicken wings restaurant with chicken wings having different sauce options,
We were greeted by our server and seated on the table. She bought water plus menus for us.
After exploring the menu I decided to order for drinks Dirty Hippie Beer and for dinner we ordered Chicken Wings with two different flavors and Chicken Salad.
The server first bought beer for us. The beer was good and it was local beer.
The wings were delicious and we loved the wing. They were perfect with correct amount of spice.
The Chicken Salad was delicious with fresh ingredients.
Amazing restaurant to try for beer and chicken wings. We loved it.

Overpriced wings are one thing, but an 18% take out fee is ridiculous. I understand a standard to go fee to cover packaging, but almost $20 on a $100 order is just greedy. There’s no table service, no refills, no cleanup, yet you’re charged like there was.

What makes it worse is how intentionally deceptive it feels. They stopped taking online orders, which conveniently hides the fee until you’re standing there looking at the total. If you’re going to charge something like this, it should at least be capped and clearly disclosed upfront. This kind of business practice guarantees I won’t be back.
