As locals, it’s always a pleasure eating here. Our server was adorably friendly, making sure we were comfortable and everything was tasty. One of the reasons we keep going back is because unlike so many other establishments that offer wings, Roosters tops them all. They don’t skimp on how large the boneless and bone-in wings are. They’re meaty, flavorful and cooked perfectly.

Went for dinner. As usual they were pretty busy but we got a table right away. Server was friendly and polite. Food came quickly and was great. Another positive experience.

I’d give a 0 star if I could. I never do reviews but my family is upset and hungry and completely blown away how we were treated so poorly. My family went in this evening to eat and were seated but not one person came to greet my family, nor give us menus or acknowledge us. My husband had to go and get menus just to see what we wanted to order. After almost 40 minutes of no service we decided to leave. The place was not busy at all and workers were standing behind the counter. Absolutely the worst service we have ever received. Never coming here again we will support an establishment who wants to give customer service and tend to their patrons!! Roosters do better

We are Roosters fans and eat there regularly. Most of the locations are awesome. This location in Newark tonight though… not good. Our waitress did a good job but the food was terrible. Wings were clearly not done- totally undercooked. I usually don’t complain but can’t be eating partially cooked chicken. Then the manager treated us like we were idiots. Glad there’s better locations for our next visit!

The food was excellent at this location and the atmosphere typical of a sports bar. Everything was to a high standard of cleanliness that I would expect from Roosters. The staff were kind to turn several televisions on the Reds game when requested. I would return here.

Decent American fare. Affordable prices. Menu is very ala cart so you have to specifically order sides with sandwiches etc. Service was a bit slow and haggard when I was there but relatively nice. It was loud inside. Hard to hear conversations at a table of 6 except for the person right next to me.

2nd attempt to come here to eat as 1st attempt was a fail as the wait time was too much. This time we went on a rainy Friday evening around 7:30/8pm. It was busy but we were able to get a table. Staff was courteous but took them a while to serve our food. We noticed people who came after us were getting served before us. It’s an okay chicken bar place…with all the reviews and Instagram recommendations, it was not the best I’ve had so far (but that’s comparing to NYC and LA). Hubs got a fried chicken sandwich (didn’t really seem fried, more of baked which was disappointing). I got chicken sliders, fried which was better. We also had the dumpster tots which were meh for the price, small dish. Got fried wings with Korean BBQ (not impressed) and boneless with Nashville. Maybe would’ve been better if flavors were switched around. IDK, I guess this is really just bar food quality. A little disappointed ☹️

Food was great. Prices were pretty decent. Got food for 2 adults and 3 kids and it was $40 something. I added a $18ish tip which made for an even $60..
