Our waitress was very sweet & attentive. We both got fish & shrimp baskets. It comes with fries & coleslaw. The fries are absolutely the best I’ve ever tasted! The slaw is great. And let me tell you, the fish & shrimp is so fresh. I can’t wait to go back and try more item’s before 4pm, which is early bird menu & prices. Everything looked great at all the surrounding diners tables to! It was pretty loud at 6pm on a Thursday but the awesome food made up for that. Give it a try you’ll love it to!

We sat down fast and the service was fast. My food was really hot and tasty paper towels hanging on hangers above our head looked a little redneck though. I had the grouper and my friend got the shrimp tacos. The tacos looked very bland. It was just lettuce, shrimp and sauce. There was more lettuce than the shrimp and sauce. I wouldn’t order the tacos personally because I need more stuffing besides lettuce in it

Stopped in for the first time at this place. I have a roosterfish tatoo so I was always wanting to check it out. Today I did, and am so glad. The calamari was fresh, they bread it and fry it there (no frozen garbage). I also ordered the coconut crusted tilapia with the raspberry/horseradish sauce. First of all, a huge portion (leftovers for dinner), reasonably priced and absolutely delicious.
Service by Stephanie was excellent. She recomended the Pain Killer cocktail which was perfect with what I ordered. Definitely will be going more often. The signs on the bathroom doors made me giggle.

We were a big skeptical when we first walked in to see the paper towels on coat hangers hanging from the ceiling, but were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious; we highly recommend the hush puppies! They offer a great selection of mixed drinks featuring Rum. The service was great, with an attentive waiter and manager.

my boyfriend and I came for Valentine’s Day, got right in with no wait. first I have to say if you get a chance ask for dan !! He was amazing from start to finish, he always checked up on us without being too much. My boyfriend also was in the mood for grouper tacos (not on the menu) dan made it happen and my gosh they were amazing !!! The lobster special was spectacular and hopefully added to the menu. We left full and definitely plan on coming back !!

We enjoyed our meal at the roosterfish Grill. Our drinks arrived in a timely fashion and we’re flavorful. Our waiter was informative as far as the specials for the evening. He was prompt with service and attentive which made the meal even more enjoyable for my 88 year old mother. When we are back in Largo we will stop back into the roosterfish Grill

First time, great time! Friday fish fry during lent. Very busy but everyone was hustling and keeping the flow. Food was excellent. I got the captains platter, was well with the current 26 dollars. Was a nice size piece of flounder with a light tasty breading, scallops were perfectly cooked, clam strips were perfect, not chewy, breading light. They obviously use clean, changed oil at high temp because the fried food was crispy and light versus other places that seem saturated due to low oil temp. Shrimp was a great size, again breading was nice and light not overly battered. Dessert brought the cannoli cake which was very good, I tried a family members triple chocolate layer cake which was definitely for chocolate lovers. Other family member got the homemade key lime pie which was really good. I would probably get the triple chocolate layer myself. We started with amazing mozzarella sticks, a few drinks and an ice water. Final Bill for nice night out with great food and great atmosphere was 190 plus gratuity for 4 for planning purposes but there are all different price levels, ours were at the higher end with the captains platter, stuffed haddock meal, clam strip meal, and large salad/ side potatoes, mozzarella appetizer, 5 bottles of beer and 3 desserts. Would do it all over again.

We were disappointed fish dinner not cooked. I should have known better than to have ordered a steak at a seafood resturant. It wasn’t bad it just wasn’t what friends had us believing.

First time coming here and it was decent. Lots of menu items for seafood lovers and plenty options for those who don’t want seafood. The fried Mushrooms were fresh and made well, probably the best I’ve ever had!

Only issue during the visit was receiving spoiled scallops, when you cut into them you could smell that they were no good. The sever replaced them but we didn’t eat them at that point.

This is a very casual restaurant. The staff is friendly and I was impressed that the waiter memorized our orders.
There are grilled options for fish which is great for food allergies. They do use butter on the grill so they did not use it for my cod. I had the asparagus which was okay. Honestly, it’s best with vegan butter so I think it was as good as it could be.
The French fries were perfectly crisp and delicious.
We kept joking about the paper towels which hang from the ceiling. You will never run out.
