The Hat Yai chicken was delicious, though the chicken rice tasted a bit salty to our tastebuds. The popcorn chicken was never too dry or overcooked, we like the hint of spiciness from the pepper sprinkled on top. The chicken skin was average, probably will skip if we order again. Overall food portion was pretty generous.

This is a cool little spot located at the Waterhouse Commons off of SW Regatta Ln in Beaverton. Simple menu with a few vegetarian options and the small dining space add to the no rush laid back feel to the place. Down an adjacent hallway leads you to Bar Sabai which is where we will go to in a future visit.
So, if you’re ever in the area and looking for a quick bite, give this place a try. Also, don’t forget to support small businesses in your area!

I recently enjoyed a delightful bowl of brooth that was not only delicious but also came in a generous portion at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere of the restaurant was incredibly relaxing, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal while catching up with friends or family. Behind the dining area, there’s a charming bar that adds to the cozy vibe of the place. I can’t wait to return and sample their signature drinks on my next visit! Also, the chicken rice is a must-try; it truly lives up to its reputation. Overall, it’s a wonderful dining experience that I highly recommend.

My favorite is the rice porridge, such a comforting dish with lots of flavors. And The Original or The Pearl with brown rice are also always good choices, I like to ask for all thigh meat and sometimes add steamed veggies. That rounded out with the broth is an amazing meal without breaking the bank.

I love the ginger rice and ginger scallion sauce. The first time I tried it, I spent over $200 in one week because the food here is so delicious! Plus, you can ask for skinless chicken. I hope the chicken rice porridge can become a full meal—the current portion is so small it feels more like a dessert.

Its pretty good. I would come back here for a simple meal. The chicken is not super dry, although some pieces were a little bit, and the sauce it comes with is pretty flavorful. My main gripes are that it took about 5 minutes after walking in for anyone to come to the cashier and take my order, and the habanero sauce was not that good. Also i wish the seating was a little more comfortable, not those tiny metal stools. Overall it’s pretty tasty and i would come again, but don’t expect to be blown away.

First time coming here after hearing good things about this place from the Bay Area. It’s another good quick lunch spot to hit up.
We ordered the original (delicious): chicken breast, thigh with skin, bed of rice with a side of cucumber slices, and a cup of chicken broth. This was perfect to have right after my climbing session. I liked their sauce on the side, which has a gingery taste. The meat is so moist! Chicken breast can usually be dry, but this was excellent. I also had it with some of the broth, and this really completed my meal with a nice cold and rainy fall day. Thanks!
Good sized portion too. Next time, I would like to try the Pearl.
There is another establishment in the back, a bar, so I’d like to check that out next time.

Fast food style, priced reasonable. Like the rice and soup. The chicken is a bit on the dry side for me. Otherwise, would love to try again. Tried again, chicken is moist , but rice is off. Part of the rice tasted like porridge ( too much water). Inconsistent and created mixed feeling.

Had my first meal on 1/24/26 and it was AMAZING! Delicious, fresh ingredients — the best chicken meat I’ve ever had from any restaurant. Rice was very flavorful, too. Generous portions, excellent service and reasonably priced. Will definitely eat here again!

This place is pretty great. I compare it unfairly to Nongs and it’s not quite as good but comes pretty close. No shame. The employees and the vibe are actually better than Nongs. Much more friendly. I like this place. Will be back often.
