Delicious and satisfying comfort food. The Spinach salad was jam packed with deliciousness and not over dressed. The fried chicken was moist, fall off the bone tender and crispy. Absolutely delicious and comforting for the soul. The crispy broccoli with chili sauce was delectable, each bite leaving you waiting for the next. I really like this place, delicious food, great service, and very fun for bar trivia on Thursday nights. I will say it is a little pricey and there are no prices on the drink menu so you might be surprised when you get the bill. The rotisserie chicken was delicious and moist with the honey truffle sauce and the Mac and cheese was out of this world.

Went here with a group of girlfriends for dinner and drinks. Food and was fantastic albeit overpriced and our server was great, but the manager (I think her name is Kala?) was visibly rude and short with her employees and the constant sour look on her face wasn’t very welcoming. It’s a huge turn off to see staff be treated poorly, and I urge management to do better. I will not be dining here again, and will instead be visiting establishments that treat their staff with dignity.

Huge space- booth, high top and bar seating. There is a little room off the side as well.
Awesome drinks menu. We stopped for lunch. The burger and fries were excellent! Truffle Mac and cheese which was clearly very popular was excellent. We also tried the cornbread – crumbly and served with pimento cheese- very good.
Chef has cooking classes. There are trivia nights. The menu is creative and flavorful. Simple dishes were elevated with elegant touches. 🙂 And clearly flavorful- all 3 of our dishes were very good!
Space is very clean and well-decorated. 🙂 Service is very good: perfect amount of attentiveness and care. 🙂

After years of driving through the little town of Newington, I’ve noticed an establishment downtown which changes names often.
This time while driving through I felt a brightness, and an energy coming from the new restaurant, Rooster Co.
Yeah… Another chicken joint, right?
So I walked in and was greeted with a cheerful atmosphere and a bustling room full of happy diners and drinkers.
The elegant hostess came up and immediately seated me. Within 1 minute a waiter came gliding by with a glass of ice water. He patiently helped me with the menu, in a friendly and professional manner.
I ordered the rotisserie half chicken with polenta and a Mexican cheese. I was amazed with my first bite of the polenta, and soon dug into the drumstick of the roasted chicken.
It Immediately reminded me of my mother’s outside rotisserie from the 60s and 70s where she roasted off whole chickens and various other meats.
The chicken was mildly crispy outside, juicy and tender inside and was absolutely delicious.
My hopes are that they don’t change the name or anything about this find eatery.
I will certainly make it a mainstay from here on out to visit Rooster Co.
Tucked in on the main drag right there in town, you can’t miss it.
This place has some of the best food in all of Newington and beyond.

I was very surprised by this place. Very good food! The wings were some of the best wings I’ve had lately – try the Cola BBQ sauce. I didn’t get a picture of the corned bread side because I devoured it, but oh my, was it the most tasty cornbread I’ve ever had! Id come back here just for that alone… The chicken sandwich was delicious but I was stuffed by the time I got halfway through it. Very good size (American-sized) portions. The staff was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was cozy. Cool art in the walls too. I most certainly will come back and I highly recommend this restaurant. Cheers,

Place is just ok… nothing memorable about my experience. Came here and attempted to order the special and was informed it was sold out. Also, attempted to order one of the designer beers and it was sold out too.
Had a nice selection of craft beers and cocktails.
Our waitress was not very attentive and when we asked for some bread, came without butter. After I was halfway through my meal, the butter arrived and it was super hard and not easy to spread.
The other dinners came and it was just an average experience.
Waited a while for the check and it finally arrived.
The place was clean and appeared to be nicely decorated. The bar area was and the dining room had a bunch of open tables.
Parking was on the street I. Front of the restaurant. No dedicated parking lot.
Would probably return again…
