At Roost we serve up some of the best sandwiches, soups, and salads that you can find in all of East Texas. We’re open 7 days a week, for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. We believe when you order and sandwich, you should get a sandwich with plenty of meat.. not a salad! Our sandwiches are piled high, so you won’t leave our place hungry! We also believe in serving fresh, health-conscious ingredients. Our salads are made with fresh greens and all of our soups and chicken salads are made in-house. You can feel happy with the choice you made to eat with us, and still, get plenty of delicious flavor in your food!

Since Roost has opened we’ve frequented the business and love the quality of the food, however today I’m pretty frustrated with the customer service.
I placed an order on door dash for a double scoop sandwich, only to realize that I made the mistake of not clicking the sandwich plate, as I hit submit. I accidentally only ordered the scoop plate. No big deal, that was my fault. I called right away to ask them if there was any way we could just add the bread. The employee offered to upcharge for it, which I was totally fine with, until she told me it was $3 for the two slices of bread. On the app there was only a few cents difference in the two plates. When I politely asked about the price difference, she told me there was nothing she could do but ring it up separately, so I told her I just couldn’t justify that and thanks but no thanks.
I know this seems small, but it’s principle to me. I wasn’t asking for a hand out, I was just asking to pay the actual price for a sandwich plate… so now I have a $40 Roost order on the way, I’m not getting what I meant to order, but she was willing to throw some crackers in the bag instead- which costs the restaurant money anyway? I don’t know- it was just very off putting. I’m aware that I made the initial mistake, but if it were my business I would have wanted this handled differently. I don’t recommend ordering through door dash, because there is no place for customizations or notes, nor changes to the order 1 second after purchasing, and the kids working the counter seem to lack common sense.

Wow!!! Amazing!!! Can’t wait to try more items on the menu – the egg salad, chicken salad, catfish, and shrimp were perfect!!

Food was delicious and service was great and friendly! I shared the Texas breakfast with my husband. The pancakes were nice and fluffy, syrup was warm, potatoes were crispy! Will definitely be back with our kids. The atmosphere is fun.

Went for breakfast – sunny side up eggs each had about 1/3 of the egg white uncooked and puddled on top. Staff said that this is just how sunny side up eggs are and maybe I should order something different. Some small amount of uncooked egg white is normal, but not spoon fulls of egg white. Also, someone else ordered strawberry cheesecake french toast, but it was so dry that we had to check if it was just regular toast with cream cheese icing spread on it (still not sure that it wasn’t).

Don’t fall for the strawberry “cheesecake” French toast. For a $1.99 up charge, you get regular French toast with no cheesecake. The “cheesecake” is a very thin icing (think donut glaze) drizzled over the French toast with a few fresh strawberry slices. Then, there’s powdered sugar on top of that. Definitely not worth the up charge. It was so sweet, I couldn’t eat it.

It was a great place and the hot honey biscuit sandwich with crispy chicken was delicious. My husband asked to go back again tomorrow. We also got a side of seasoned potatoes – it was a good portion for a side. We got a cinnamon roll to go for later. The food was made quickly and came hot. We would definitely come back.

This is a great place for breakfast! The employees are all kind and very helpful. They have a large selection on their breakfast menu. I got the French toast with eggs and seasoned potatoes and I chose sausage as my protein. The portions were huge, I took home half of my food because I was so full. My husband got the same thing as me only he got the pancake stack. The pancakes are huge. Honestly I never would have thought of going to a restaurant named Roost to eat breakfast, but I’m so glad we did.
The entire restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. There wasn’t a single thing I would change. I wish there was one closer to home, we drove 45 minutes to eat breakfast but it was so worth it. Oh and the prices were amazing! Stop by and try them out!

Omg the food, the vibe, the drinks, at Fuzzys is EVERYTHING and is deliciously delicious . I am a bread eater so I love flacky crust and their Tacos with the flacky shells are FANTASTIC! OOH the spicy shrimp taco I had with bacon and guacamole was soooo yummy! This was our first visit, but will not be our last. Happy hour begins at 2 p.m. if I’m not mistaken. So I told my Hubby on his off days which is every other Monday, we will be doing happy hour at Fuzzys

The chicken salads and the avocado salad were good. They were a little less moist than we like and could use a little more seasoning but the service was good and the restaurant was very clean.
Edited: New Review. I had rated 5 stars in the past. This visit wasn’t up to standards. The strawberry French toast had maybe a half a strawberry on it and looked nothing like the online picture. The scrambled eggs were asked for well done (came out runny). I will give them another chance but this was disappointing.
