It’s just not me look at the other reviews, for takeout they put the spaghetti in a cup. That’s only half the problem , there is absolutely no taste to the sauce. I’m guessing he buys his sauce the same place prisons buy tomato sauce. If you ever wondered what prison food taste like go to this place! This is absolutely the worst spaghetti I have ever had at a restaurant. I can’t even think of anything in a jar or a microwave dinner that will taste this bad.

The food needs to be more consistent I’ve been going here since I was a child you never know now whether it’s going to be good or not

I don’t know why anyone would give this place a bad review. I met 3 of my friends here on a Saturday right after opening, and it was a great experience. Two of us, including me, ordered Tricia’s special (meatballs and ricotta) and two of us got ravioli. One of my friends let me try their ravioli and it is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. It was more on the firm side, but it was tender and tasted amazing. I like firm pasta more than soft, so be aware of that if you like soft pasta. The meatballs and sauce are delicious, and I ate every bite. They are generous with bread, we had two baskets. Service is fast and our waitress was very friendly. We were served on actual dishes and drinking glasses, no Styrofoam. Be sure to bring cash, cards aren’t accepted. There is an ATM in the restaurant though. Its a bit more casual and old fashioned than most people are used to these days, but I would definitely eat here again. I highly recommend. Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews, try it yourself first!

I love this place, my girlfriend showed me The Roosevelt for the first time about 25 years ago, she knew it well because her family went alot when she was young. In my opinion, it’s very cozy and laid back, the food is homemade, the staff is relaxed and nice. It’s decor reminds me of how places used to be when I was growing up. I love how it is almost exactly the same as the first time I went, I would choose their relaxed “old school” atmosphere over any “fancy” Italian restaurant any day.

This place was amazing. Family owned and fresh made pasta. I had the ravioli and the wife had the hand made spaghetti. If your close to there you need to stop and eat…

We doordashed from this place yesterday and it was so disgusting it made me write a review. The food is ungodly inedible and the meatballs are not cooked. It comes so unsanitary. Just protect you and your family and go somewhere else. Idk if these positive reviews are from biased family and friends but this place is GROSS

Nice little hometown eatery. The home made spaghetti noodles are to die for. Their spicy Italian sausage sandwich is also amazing.

Ordered the large speghett and a large rigatoni both came with 2 slices of bread and a packet of cheese and meatball (the meatball needs a new recipe) the sauce has changed from the last time we got this and that was years ago, with ownership change comes changes in the recipe, I was more of a fan of the original sauce but this sauce is okay, the cost for a large is $9.00 and a small is $8.00 (attached photo of current menu as of July 10th 2021.

Food arrived in Styrofoam cups. Meatballs were tasty. Rigatoni and sauce was OK. Side salad not at all what was pictured. Paid $5 for a cup of lettuce and a few tomatoes. Not horrible but not great.
