My wife and I came to town to look at some investment properties. She has been in the restaurant industry her entire life.. even started out in fast food when we were teenagers in Hurst TX back in 83. She had found Roos online and had been excited all day about coming to the restaurant and having a great meal and date night. We arrived at Roos about 4:30 pm and as soon as we walked in the door, I was extremely pleased with the appearance of the restaurant and neither the hostess or server did not have any visible nasty tattoos or nose piercings. We did notice that we had the entire restaurant to ourselves and maybe 10-12 people at the bar.. Major Red flag! We ordered jalapeño poppers for an appetizer. They looked like Great value poppers right out of the box and tasted even worse, at least they were hot. I saw or the first time in my life, my brides food (Red snapper and shrimp plate) was so awful that she refused to eat it and sent it back. Mind you my wife had been fasting for 24 hours and was starving. I was in shock to be honest. I had the Jalapeño burger with fries and was almost as disappointed. I was able to eat half the burger and a quarter of the fries. The fries were actually cold. This is only the third bad review that I have ever left for a restaurant. There is no way the other reviews are real. I come from upper lever oil field management and this restaurants food is a direct reflection of either Zero management or very poor management. We had to go elsewhere to have a decent meal in a wonderful town.

We had a date night and decided to try Roos in Weatherford Tx… The waitress was the sweetest and attentive! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I had dinner, she got salmon and I got wings. Her salmon was completely foul and my wings were undercooked. This was yesterday (2/27/26) and here it is 7:44am the next day and we are both hugging a toilet and throwing up our meals from the night before. The food was unreal in a bad way. For a Friday night the dining room was empty at 7:30pm, the bar had about 8 people including us and by 9pm that place looked like it was shutting down. Completely weird place and horrible food.

Just relocating to Weatherford and have been to Roo’s several times over the past 6 months. I’ve been during busy times and slow times and the food and service is always consistent and delicious! Today I had the Roo’s salad with chicken. My sister had a filet with vegetables and a salad and it was all great!! Will definitely be back!

Tried them out last weekend. Glad I did. Pretty tasty food. We had typical diner stuff. Servers were pleasant but maybe not as attentive as they could’ve been. Enjoyed the experience though. Very “Sports Bar” feel. We’ll go back.

I don’t know what to say about this place. It was one disaster after another. Only one waitress. Bartender forget to plug in the margarita machine. Kitchen forgot half our order. Sad sad. When we finally got our food it was not good. Sorry can not recommend.

They graciously allow us to play Mahj there once a week and the waitress who always waits on our group is a GEM!!!! The margaritas are delicious and so are the burgers and nachos.

Great sports bar for a game or fight night. 2 private rooms. TV in every corner I kid you not 15+ TVs in this restaurant.
Had crab stuffed chicken, GREAT FLAVOR, large portion of crab on a chicken breast.
Bar tender Somer is very good and should keep up the good work.
Only thing could change is maybe lower price of appetizers they are the same price as the entrees.
