Farm to cart food stall located at The Pines Dines Food Cart Pod on hwy 101. Our menu rotates often with seasonal availability. Our produce is gathered at local farmers markets and we only use local seafood and meats. Our crab rolls are the best thing to find its way into a set of hot buns since well you get the picture. We are a scratch made food cart if we don’t make it we don’t serve it.

I frequent the Pines Dine regularly and Rook & Larder is easily the best truck on site; in fact, it is the best place to grab food in all of Lincoln City in my opinion. The food is consistently top quality and the ingredients are so fresh and locally sourced. They change up the menu as the seasons change, and there are always new specials so there is always something new to try. The bread on their sandos is absolutely perfect. The ramen here is the best ramen I’ve ever had. I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed their mac and cheese and highly recommend. There is a reason why I named this my top pick in town when creating a restaurant guide for the Sea Gypsy Rentals website. It may be a little higher priced but you get what you pay for: top quality!

Probably the most generous serving of pork belly I’ve ever had with ramen, and it was delicious. This meal was really satisfying. The flavors and broth were unlike any other ramen I’ve tried, it was rich and a bit spicy, very cozy on a cold day.

Great spot in Lincoln City! We had the soft shell poboy and were absolutely thrilled! The footlong focaccia was crispy and fresh—and big enough to split! The ingredients were not just thrown together…they were thoughtfully combined! We would love to try the Mac and cheese, maybe next time when we have more room in our tummies… will be back!

The Spicy Crab Ramen was a real treat
The base was absolutely delicious, there was a heavy amount of spice, dashi coming through in the best way! Scallions and marinated egg were a perfect compliment to the bowl
The chicken sandwich was amazing! The chicken was cooked perfectly, hot and juicy! House made pickled squash and red onion were so good, arugula and aioli was top notch, thank you Chef! We will be back ♂️

I have been going to Rook and Larder since the delicious food truck opened. I’ve always thought the food was sooo good. I have recently discovered a new menu item and this K-pop chicken salad is my new favorite thing. Get double chicken because those GF crispy chicken bites are the best part alongside the spicy kimchi and crunchy fresh cucumbers. You’ll love it too!

First, they helped me with choosing what to eat, all of it sounded so great!!
Second, the choices were outstanding!! Pork belly ramen was perfect, amazing flavors including the broth, we emptied the entire bowl!! The Bang Bang Chicken was also amazing, chicken cooked to perfection and all the flavors went together so beautifully!
Last, we were playing trivia, didn’t realize our fob was buzzing, and they brought our food to us so it wouldn’t get cold!

I had the most amazing sandwich here. When the menu here says you get a foot long po boy, that’s exactly what you get. Man, this thing was big. I could only eat half of it, making it two complete meals. What a treat for later!
I ordered the pork belly po boy, and it was a memorable experience. The bread was thick but light and easy to compress so as to take a big ‘ol bite out of it. And there was a good amount of pork Belly which was so good.
And there were a healthy number of greens splashed with a little oil and vinegar to help make the flavors pop. I will say that it wasn’t cheap at $20 but I would order it again and not complain. It is a fair price and like I said above, it made two meals.

Jim did a Private Party for me, I was celebrating my Birthday , the food was out of this world!! There were 6 courses each one was perfection. We worked together to make a menu I’d be pleased to have served to me and my guests. He also made a Charcuterie Board for me, the presentation was beautiful and the food great. I’m posting pictures of the dinner. I highly recommend Jim, he’s professional and makes great food.

This is an absolute hidden gem! You HAVE to stop here if you are on the coast looking for fresh & LOCAL seafood. They use only the best local & house-made ingredients & you can tell when you’re eating it. We got the spicy crab ramen special today and I truly haven’t tasted anything that flavorful in a long time! On the coast everyone’s flavors start melding together because you see a lot of the same thing. Fish & chips, chowder, seafood pasta. Having a restaurant break those bounds but still offer that home style comfort food is exactly what we need around here & I’m so happy that Rook & Larder is pulling it off! Excellent job you guys! We’ll be seeing you again soon.
