Reviews
Came here with a group of 3, and we ordered the following:
APPS :
Fish Roulade – best item of the apps. Perfectly cooked and seasoned!
Chicken Seekh Canapes – really great, just wish the slice of bread on the bottom was toasted
Yogurt Kebab – really delicious and textured! When I used to live in dubai, thread chicken was very popular, and this was really similar.
Mains:
Scallop Moilee – the scallops were a bit overcooked, but omg that sauce was so delicious.
Rahra Lamb – also really well done. A touch too salty, but the lam was so tender.
Burrata Saag – I would never have though to do this, and I’m very much a palak hater, but this was fantastic. The creaminess of the gooey burrata and the herbiness from the spinach goes so well together!
Desserts :
Kulfi – the actual kulfi was great. Was not a fan of the falooda accompanying it.
Drinks
The winterlicious dinner came with a mango lassi. It was super thick, almost a srikhand but so delicious
The menus was most definitely worth the price – and I will be super excited to come back after licious is done too!
We ordered 3 cocktails…two which were amazing: the bollywood affair and the rooh mirage..both were exquisite! The masala margarita was not as great..
Overall the food was good, not amazing. Service was not bad..attentive, informative and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and worth while. Atmosphere was kind of dead considering we went on a Saturday night, however that could be a good thing if you like to avoid crowds and noise. The restaurant is only 3 months old, so still needs some tweaking and adjustments to their menu, but otherwise it has a lot of potential. I would go back in an year and recommend it if you enjoy Delhi/north Indian food.
We had samosa chaat, mutton korma, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. Curry was so creamy, nutty and spicy in the best way, and their Naan was the definition of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Decent quality!
Portions were pretty big too, considering it’s more on the fancier side.
And their service was great! It was my birthday, and the waiter made sure we were having a good time and enjoying the food.
I would love to visit this place again! Things are on the pricier side, but beautiful atmosphere, quality food and service makes it worth going for.
Even the biryani tasted more like plain pulao and was not flavorful at all.
The service was actually very good, and the staff were polite and attentive. However, if you’re looking for authentic flavors and good taste, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Also, staff is very attentive and quite friendly. Love their hospitality. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants try the modern Indian cuisine.
Got the Ajwaini Fish Roluade for appetizers, khoya pistachio chicken for mains and mango tiramisu for dessert.
Paid- $36 including tax and gratuity.
10/10 recommended.
My favourite was the mango tiramisu for sure.
My personal desire is that mango tiramisu should be permanently added to the menu. In the summer it would just amazing
We had an amazing dinner experience at ROOH yesterday. We ordered the tandoori momos — absolutely phenomenal! The non-veg platter was outstanding as well — the seekh kebab, chicken 65, wings, everything was bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked.
For mains, we tried palak paneer, dal makhani, and butter chicken, and each dish was delicious and rich in taste. The breads were soft and fresh — especially the garlic butter naan and regular butter naan, both were a must-try.
The prices are very genuine for the quality they offer, and the service was excellent — polite, attentive staff and great hospitality overall.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for flavorful Indian food with great portion sizes and amazing taste.
