This was our second attempt visiting Rooftop 25, and it was absolutely worth the wait. Our first visit didn’t go as planned due to a miscommunication about a block-out date for a private event. However, the owner went above and beyond to make things right—and truly delivered on that promise.
When we finally came in, I was blown away by the atmosphere. The space felt intimate and private, and the view was nothing short of stunning. The staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We ordered the pizza and the salmon—both were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The drinks were also on point—crafty, refreshing, and well-balanced.
Rooftop 25 has officially earned a spot on our list of go-to places. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

In baseball terms, this eatery after a 5 year wait could be elevated into SF food scenes HOF. If they continue to hang the hat on pizzas it could be a much longer wait. I ordered the Margarita. Allow me to disclose I am a chef, a pizzaiolo, and reluctant pizza eater personally.

I’ll start with the positive. Nice ambiance, good music, cool layout, and interesting looking drinks (I didn’t have any). Also, the Short Rib Calzone was easily the best thing I had, and one of the better items I’ve had that week.
That said, this place shouldn’t be serving steak. It was over priced, over-cooked and served along side room temperature to cold vegetables. My date’s dish (we both ordered the rib eye) came out room temperature at best.
If the restaurant is reading this, I humbly suggest you remove Steak from your menu. You’re not good at it, it’s over priced and I’m sure that I’m not the only one severely disappointed by the dish.
Stick to the pizza and calzones here, they are pretty darned good!
The restaurant should have comped one of the rib eye dishes, but they didn’t. Probably should have not tipped to drive home the point.
Could potentially return for a Calzone and that flavorful marinara sauce, but still extremely disappointed by frankly poorly executed rib eye dishes.

Nice, convenient location between parking and Oracle Park Recommend the linguine with clams (only $22). Pizza is unique (interesting veggies and lots of cheese). They have a great drink menu, nonalcoholic, soda, beers, wine & cocktails.

Had a great time at ROOFTOP 25! The food and drinks were tasty, and the young lady who served us was really friendly and attentive. The vibe was fun and lively, perfect for hanging out with friends. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is it got a bit crowded, but overall a solid spot!

Words cannot express how great this place is. We have a 15 month old son. The staff were great with him and very patient considering how energetic he is!! I forgot to ask for the staff names but a big thanks to them. The food was also very delicious! Amazing chefs and staff.

Possibly the best “Rooftop Bar and Lounge” in the Bay Area. Excellent hand crafted and boozy cocktails, thoughtful American food that feels healthy, amazing service, great location, and beautiful lounge space. The view is nice but slightly obscured by other buildings. However, I absolutely recommend visiting here (we drove up from Sunnyvale to visit). Great customer service, drinks, food, and location! They have a small selection of crafted cocktails as well as beer and wine. The cocktails were excellent, I recommend the spicy margarita or the coconut daiquiri. The drinks also had a great level of alcohol that didn’t make the drinks taste bad. Absolutely recommended! Can be a little pricy but it’s San Francisco!
[The Food]
This place also has a few carefully thought out meals that are American style. The dishes aren’t unhealthy and come typically with vegetables – although they certainly have a few things if you’re not watching calories! Everything we tried was great and we were really impressed with the taste. Recommend the pretzel bites, salmon, or the pizza. Everything looked amazing.
[The Service]
Customer service here is excellent! You order everything at the bar and they bring the food to you. We didn’t even wait 10 minutes and our food was ready! The servers continued to checkin with us every time they walked by. Everyone was super nice!
[The Location]
This restaurant can be a little hard to find. It’s right off of Embarcadero (close to ORACLE park). There is street parking as well as parking in underground lots nearby. Be careful when coming during baseball game days because the parking becomes very expensive.

The best octopus I’ve ever tasted! Good pizza too. We went for happy hour drinks as advertised online but they were full price when we went which was a bit disappointing, as they were quite pricey. Still, nice to sit in the sunshine with good food and very friendly efficient staff. Food came quickly and enjoyed the casual Saturday experience.
