The rooftop is located on the fifth floor of the Mayer-House. Overall it’s pretty successful, the service is very good, the food is delicious and mostly sharing dishes, and a great view. However, it was a bit packed with not a lot of distance between tables.

We came to this rooftop restaurant at 00:38 on Friday, July 11 to celebrate a friend’s birthday—and were met with disrespect from the moment we arrived.
We called ahead, were told a table was available, and came right away. At the entrance, the hostess asked for our IDs. One friend forgot hers and showed a digital copy, which they refused. We said we wouldn’t order alcohol, but instead of seating us, the hostess gave us unnecessary attitude.
After waiting, we asked about the table—only to be told it was no longer available. Then she laughed at us. It felt like we were being mocked, possibly because we’re not locals. The manager was just as rude and unapologetic when we asked to speak with him.
When we were finally seated, we asked again about ordering alcohol (since our friend had been served here a week earlier without being asked for ID), and were met with more rude behavior.
The rooftop view was nice—but it’s nowhere near enough to make up for the humiliating service. The food was average, the experience was awful. Never coming back.

We had a terrible experience. We waited over 60 minutes for our food and over 50 minutes for our drinks. We had to cancel some of our food because the wait was too long. The waiter was very nice, but unprofessional. They missed some of our drinks and food. We ordered a bottle of white wine, but it arrived warm and not as it should have been. The waiter just put the bottle in the can and didn’t pour our glasses. Overall, it was a bad experience.
