The french fries looked good but ended up being completely soggy. The fried pickles tasted like bland flour and salt….extremely salty….just hamburger dills….dipped in salted flour…the double cheeseburgers had almost zero flavor. My daughter didn’t even finish her bacon cheese fries because no one liked how soggy the fries were.
The only positive exception was my son’s baon cheeseburger, which turned out great.
This was a 1-star experience, but the staff was very nice and my son got a good item, so bumping it up for that.
I am guessing we got an odd bad experience, but it was so rough we will probably not try again unless we go with someone else.
The grilled chicken salad is very good large chunks of chicken. I had to have some chili cheese fries ~ the best in town.
They don’t have croutons.
Everything at Ron’s is very good.
For the Sand Springs location, I would say it has a little work to do on the quality of their food. The last few times we’ve went, each time the cheese tots were over cooked and slightly burnt. The chicken bites were dry and overcooked. The chili doesn’t seem to have the same taste and spices, it’s okay, just not the same. Nothing crazy bad, just definitely room for improvement on the food quality.
Service staff is nice. The atmosphere is always nice.
Also a side note: Order your fries extra crispy, man it really brings it up a notch
I am just happy to know Ron’s Hamburgers & Chili has a location in Sand Springs! no … I will go for the flavors with the fried pickles, please!
Yummmy … can’t wait!
I wish the batter with the fried pickles stay crispy a bit longer!
