I was told about Ronnie’s by a friend, and I am really glad I listened. I tried the deer meat sausage and enjoyed it so much that I had to return for another purchase. They offer a great variety of unique in house items that are surprisingly delicious. The place stays busy, yet the service remains friendly and efficient. Definitely a spot worth visiting again.

First and foremost, there is nothing fancy about this place. However, that being said, there is almost always a line here. The floors are a bit greasy. It’s counter service only. But…..
The pork and chicken cracklins are delicious. I also ordered the shrimp po boy, and all I can say is “DAMN, that was one good sandwich.
Friendly staff, great food! You can’t beat this place. Go try it for yourself, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

A friend of mine told me I needed to try Boudin. Normally I skip these restaurants because spicy foods hurt my stomach.. but my friend insisted. Explained this to the girl… And she hooked me up. The boudin balls are Amazing!! Never have I ever had a chicken cracklin.. And now I feel like i’ve been missing out my whole life. The mild boudin link (like sausage).. Had just enough flavor but not too much spice. The staff here was amazing and I will definitely be back

We got boudin balls, stuffed boudin balls, boudin eggroll, and pork cracklin. Service was fast. The stuffed boudin balls have cheese and taste pretty good, but the outside wasn’t crispy. The outside of the boudin eggroll was soft, not crispy, which was disappointing. The pork cracklin was flavorful, but very hard to chew.

Pretty much everything you could want. The crawfish cakes were amazing, great seasoning and spice. You probably want to get there early for lunch, line can get long and they can sell out of some menu options.

Had the fried chicken and red bean special on Monday. The portion was very large and a good value for the cost, however the red beans were very bland and didn’t have much sausage. I got the Dark meat fried chicken which was also very bland. They also fried the whole leg quarter as one piece, I generally prefer to have the thigh and leg separate. The side of sweet potato casserole was also bland and could have used a touch of salt, sugar or a pecan topping. The cornbread was very good.

Went to Ronnie’s Boudin & Craklin off Forida Blvd. for a little lunch with a coworker. I got 6 cheese stuffed boudin balls , and my friend got the Firiday fried catfish plate with fries. The Bballs were amazing as usual..My friend enjoyed his Cat plate also. When I go back I’m trying the chicken craklins, I hear they are great. It was 1230pm but we got our food quick and the service was great.

Turkey wings are good but boudin isn’t. I tried their links first time, couldn’t eat it, threw it away. Tried boudin balls this time, they tasted better but I didn’t finish the 3. Meat pie I took one bite and spit out. Wasn’t seasoned at all.

I live in Texas but work in Louisiana a few times a year. I LOVE Cracklins. This place was on the way to the airport so I bought a pound to take home. I don’t know if it was the meat that was spoiled or the grease they cooked them in but they were awful. Stale, kind of sour tasting. They were so bad I threw them in the trash. The place was packed so maybe they were having an off day.
