My expectations were a lot lower because i never knew this place existed. This place definitely rocked me today. I’m already planning on coming back with my friends soon. Grant it I only tried 2 main dishes, 2 appetizers and hot tea and 2 of us was under $40.

The quality and quantity of the food is both generous and delicious. The interior is small and cozy, but it’s nicely decorated with Asian themes. Utensils are surprisingly good too.

It’s a small place but worth the trip I’ve been to many ramen shops in the city but this is by far the best one I’ve had, Their spicy chili oil was like no other, they had other items besides ramen. Me and my daughter will be coming here more often.

My first time at Ronin’s and I really feel the service was not up to par. My cousins wife is pregnant and had dietary restrictions and the waitress kept pushing her to eat something she couldn’t. And the soft drink she ordered wasn’t given until our meal was nearly done. The food was pretty good. I have to say Ronin’s is on my list of ramen places I like here in Illinois. The ambiance made me think of the time when I had ramen in Japan many years ago. Over all I would say, the service really was sour in my opinion.

Amazing food! Was fairly busy when I showed up around noon but the food came quick. I ordered the duck ramen and it was well worth it. Broth was fantastic, the duck was tender, and all the fixings were there and tasty. I also had mochi ice cream for dessert, which came with strawberries. The staff is pleasant, warm, and accommodating. I spoke with the owner/manager and she was very kind and humble, and I could tell she was proud of her work. I will be a repeat customer, because I just have to try their whole menu!

We live in Chicago and only can come here when shopping for skates. Ramen is great, both Chashu and beef brisket are extraordinary, so are the soup base (beef ramen has a clear soup base, Chashu has a rich soup base.)
