Amazing, clean, tasty food that more authentically represents the quality of Chinese cuisine than your local to-go place. Great spice levels which they’re willing to alter to your preference, but I would say to trust the chef and enjoy. Everything we had was delicious and we’ll be going back soon.

Decided to have a solo lunch, and this restaurant came up with really good reviews. I was genuinely excited and decided to give it a try. There were only two tables occupied when I arrived, and the menu looked interesting, a very mixed selection of everything. But the excitement went downhill fast. They call it Sichuan food? The chicken dish was completely tasteless other than being spicy, and it was very dry. I honestly don’t understand how they got such high reviews with such bland food. I left disappointed and I won’t be coming back.
Update:
After receiving the owner’s reply I’m even more disappointed. First of all, I went back to check the menu. There is absolutely nothing that says “dry-fried” in the dish name or description. It only says “Three-Pepper Chicken,” and the description mentions it’s “tossed with pepper.” I’ve had Sichuan food many times before, and this dish had neither the distinctive flavors of Sichuan cuisine nor much flavor at all other than so spicy. Second, the owner seemed to expect me to understand Chinese and somehow know that “Gan Bian Chicken” on the menu meant a very dry-style dish. How exactly am I supposed to know that if it isn’t clearly explained in English? Third, when I received the dish, I immediately told the server that it was really dry. Nothing was done. No offer to replace it, adjust it, or even acknowledge the issue properly. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner chose to hide behind explanations and what feels like an AI-generated response, rather than genuinely listening to the customer experience. Make the menu with an accurate and clear description, and focusing on real customer service instead of scripted replies.

Went in for lunch, have a limited lunch menu, but we got lucky and the head chef was in so we were able to order off the full menu. Got the Yopo noodles and pork and cabbage dumplings and my cousin got the RC fry noodles. All the food has strong defined flavors, noodles were cooked perfect and the ingredients were fresh. Will be back for more.

The spicy beef pot was all one flavor- the beef, the unknown mushrooms, broccoli and potatoes all tasted the same likely due to the chili like paste in the dish. It was underwhelming. The steamed pot stickers were delicious! The pineapple fried rice was flavorful- the shrimp had the shells, taking those off was not pleasant. We needed a dish for the discarded shells. The service was good and atmosphere was nice. Great location for a restaurant. We noticed a room that had a round table that likely seats 6 and a rectangle table that fit 10ish or so people.

Everything was delicious. We were truly impressed. This is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in Providence we’ve ever had. Great service and reasonably priced as well. We didn’t realize that they’re only doing soft opening now with limited menu. Can’t wait to be back soon for the full menu!! (I typically write reviews that highlights one or two of my favorite items but everything was equally amazing tonight honestly.) Highly highly recommended!

Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Food was ok. We had ma po tofu was fair, the pork dumplings were very flavorful but the skins were a tad thick, the zajiang noodles had a great texture but the flavors were a bit flat. The scallion pancakes were fantastic. The green beans were also very good.
For Szechuan food there are places in town I prefer.

Everybody really likes it here! Cute spot. Brings a big crowd. Can’t wait to come back. We just had some quick classics like Mapo Tofu, tomato egg Dali noodles and Pork belly. It is good. They are still learning here because they just opened. I am excited to return and try some other things.

I can’t believe how everything tastes like MSG! The service was just okay, but it’s obvious they care more about the renovation, decor than the quality of their food, not authentic! The noodles were disgustingly mushy. They were busy when we arrived, we had to wait like 10 minutes just to get a table. Definitely not worth the wait or the price, I will not be returning, sorry!

I visited twice already in the span of a month! This place has really good food at extremely reasonable prices. Family style dining is the way to go as there are so many dishes to try.
Although they’re still touching up on the interior, they make up for in terms of probably the warmest service I’ve had all around.
