My husband and I stopped off here on our way back from Springfield for our Anniversary. He had the Special Burrito and I had the Enchiladas Combo. We both drank water. The water wasn’t that great so I recommend horchata or a soda. My beef enchilada was the best! The cheese was average and the chicken was just ok. The Special Burrito was big! It was delicious! The chips and mild Salsa were also really good! They do offer spicy salsa but we only had the mild.

A friend brought us. The place definitely need some updating. The food just wasn’t good. Everything fried tasted like the oil was old. I had a BLT and the mayo tasted off. Bacon really didn’t even have much flavor. The pickle slices on the plate even had an old taste. Sorry it’s very underwhelming.

Wife and I came in hoping for breakfast. We were too late, but figured we would give lunch a go since we were here. Im not a fan of Mexican food in general, so initially I looked for something I would like. They had a few things, burgers and the like, but I decided to step out of my box and try something different. The lunch specials looked good, I got the taco and tostada (?), and my wife got a burrito. Both came out quick and hot, and VERY tasty! I was very happy we stopped and stayed! Will be coming back again!!!

We have dined in and carried out and we are big fans. The service is great. The food is yum. The salsa and queso are SO GOOD here! Also, they do 99 cent tacos on Tuesdays. Our kitchen was in disrepair and we couldn’t cook last week, and I was able to get 15 tacos, chips and salsa and queso for $20 Tuesday night. It was amazing!

This was the first time I had actually tried this place. I ordered a philly sandwhich. The fries were cold and as I was down to the last of my sandwich , there was hair in it. The sandwhich itself was actually good until it wasn’t. I understand this happens but I feel if your cooking, maybe wear a hairnet.

Off the beaten path this Mexican restaurant provides a very broad menu with tasty choices. The staff is very accommodating and they even bring you guacamole without asking. The food is served hot and fresh. There is a significant amount of flavor to both the salsa as well as the food. The hot salsa is hot but yet not too hot for anyone who would be concerned. The quesadillas are very good, as are the burritos. If you’re passing through on the highway or if you are I’m looking for a quick bite to eat this is a great place to visit.
