Amazing food and amazing people. Every time I’m in Hood River I come here. From drinks to desserts you will have an amazing experience. The owner makes amazing drinks and makes all his guests feel like they’ve been best friends for years. If you’re anywhere remotely near Hood River, you need to treat yourself to this place.

Romuls in Hood River Oregon is a great place to stop and enjoy very delicious Italian cuisine, great drinks, and amazing desserts. Everything from the drinks to the food were prepared with fresh ingredients and were very delicious. The Raspberry Cheesecake was the perfect ending to a very tasty meal. Besides the meal being excellent the staff was very attentive to our needs and provided us with professional and friendly service. I would highly recommend taking the time to stop at Romuls for an enjoyable dinner and a memorable time.

Will definitely go back! The staff was so friendly, informative and just really fun to talk to. The food was also amazing, but beware the menu has so many options that it was so hard to choose! Definitely feels like a hole in the wall, mom n pop type of restaurant and they really focus on fresh, hearty Italian meals. Don’t skip dessert!!
Only complaint is the lasagna had a lot of large onions that were still a bit crunchy.

The personal touch from the owner Romul made the already stellar service the best of the best.
The food was spectacular, from the frsh made focaccia bread, to the chocolate mousse in a chocolate cup. The wine. And the after dinner drink.
I will make a point of going through Hood River more often at dinner time!

My husband and I spent our 14th anniversary here. It was romantic, delicious, and very cozy! We even received a couple glasses of free champagne- they must have overheard it was our anniversary because we didn’t tell anyone. Amazing place and wonderful service!!! Will be revisiting soon!

Everything was absolutely perfect so good will definitely be back such a wonderful establishment with awesome service, food and wine . The pear salad was delicious manicotti perfection with lots of cheese light everything tasted fresh and homemade from scratch was all so good Was so full but had to make sure get desert so we got it to go 😉

We popped into Hood River after a late lunch at a nearby winery and were craving dessert and drinks. Finding nice dessert in Hood River around 5pm on a Saturday proved difficult, but then we walked by this place, saw there was a totally empty bar with barstools and many empty tables, so decided to stop in. When we told the hostess we were wanting dessert we were told “Full service only.” We weren’t even sure what that meant, so we just left, rather stunned.
We could have easily spent $50+ bucks on drinks and dessert, sat at the empty bar and been out in an hour; they could have impressed us with good food, good drinks and excellent hospitality, and we would have come back again for dinner, but we weren’t given the opportunity to be impressed and leave happy customers. It was, well, a really strange approach to doing business (or not doing business). I’d leave a zero star review if that was possible, since we weren’t afforded the opportunity to eat.

We came here on a Saturday night for our anniversary and everything was so good! The owner made the best lemon drop ever and the server made really good food recommendations. Everyone was really nice and friendly! Would definitely recommend!

After searching all the travel guides, and not finding anything that jumped out at us, we walked by Romuls and decided to drop in. First off, the service is 5 Star! Super attentive and present. Our glasses never less than half full. Onto the food! The bread with oil and vinegar was so flavorful. My wife had the chicken parm and I had the Penne Sausage with Marinara. Both surpassed our expectations. My wife said the Alfredo with her chicken parm was one of the best she has had. We took raspberry cheese cake and a triple chocolate slice to the hotel and both were on par with Michelin Star level quality.
