This was our first time dining at Romos.
I walked in and loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, I enjoyed the beautiful collection of different plants situated around the restaurant.
We were greeted by the staff with a smile.
Our server was very attentive to our every need. My husband and I both ordered the chicken shawarma, greek salad with greek dressing , both were very good..
The owner also came over and talked with us. I love this place is a family owned business with its history. We will definitely be back for more

Romo’s Mediterranean Grill has a wide selection of dishes to choose from. The owner checked in to see how we enjoyed our meal which I thought was really cool. I got a Gyro which I thought tasted okay.

I’ve ordered from Romo’s a few times now, and while the food can be absolutely fantastic when it’s done right, my experiences have been increasingly disappointing.

A few months ago, I ordered two pasta dishes. Both had some noodles that were oddly hard, like they were either undercooked or overcooked. It wasn’t the entire dish, so I brushed it off as a one-time mistake.

Today, however, was a different story. I placed an online order for pasta and pizza for pickup. The restaurant called me shortly after placing the order, first to confirm they’d received it (something I’ve never had happen before), and then again a few minutes later because the system apparently didn’t show a pickup time. I told them I’d like it ASAP since I was already on my way, and they said it would be ready in about 15 minutes.

While driving there, I got a text saying they needed another 10 minutes due to an issue, but they’d include free baklava to make up for the delay. Fair enough.

When I arrived, they told me they didn’t have a lid for my pasta, so it was packaged differently. That’s not a big deal, but when I got home, not only was the promised baklava missing, the pizza was completely burnt.

I really wanted to keep supporting Romo’s because when their food is prepared properly, it’s delicious. But after multiple inconsistent and disappointing experiences, I think it’s fair to share my honest feedback so others can be aware.

Disappointing Mediterranean Fare with Hidden Charges at Romo’s

About three years ago, we visited Romo’s and had a great experience. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, leaving us with positive memories. We were excited to return, hoping to relive that great experience, but unfortunately, this recent visit was a major letdown.

The Platter with steak and lamb has the flavor but—both steaks were hard, dry, and overcooked. Similarly, the beef shawarma in the pasta dish had the same issues, leaving us thoroughly dissatisfied. While the burger was passable, it didn’t quite make up for the other shortcomings.

Adding to our disappointment was the lack of transparency on the menu. We ordered garlic fries, expecting something special, but they turned out to be just regular fries. To make matters worse, we were charged an extra two dollars for the “sauce,” which was not mentioned on the menu. This hidden fee felt misleading and left us feeling frustrated.

Overall, this dining experience was underwhelming, especially compared to our previous visit, and we wouldn’t recommend Romo’s if you’re looking for quality Mediterranean cuisine.

I love romo’s we have plenty of left overs we got the build your own plate with 2 meats both beef and chicken shawarma both delicious on a bed of rice the rice was on the dry side, still pretty good we also tried their Dubai brownie I never understood the craze but I was hesitant after I had one other dubai brownie before and it wasn’t the best this was definitely changed my mind on the dubai chocolate trend I do recommend warming it up it before it was pretty hard until we warmed it up for 10 seconds.

Food was excellent. The service was great. This is my second time ordering from Romo’s and my first time dining in. Both times I have ordered here the food quality, presentation, and tast has been really good. Definitely worth a try and I will keep ordering from here for my lunch breaks .

We got the steak, chicken, and shawarma with lemon rice and a side of fries. Food is delicious albeit a little pricey. The chicken was very good but I didn’t feel the steak was anything special. The lamb was ok but I wish there were some bigger and thicker pieces to highlight the flavor. Most of the lamb was in small crispy chunks. Since we shared the plate (two people), the price wasn’t too much of an issue (the plate with three meat options was about $25 for two people. The menu says $19, but with a couple of additional fees for premium meat and a tip it ended up being about $6 extra).
I would give 4 stars but the menu is overall very confusing and difficult to read. When I asked questions I didn’t feel like the staff had a great understanding of how to answer my questions to clear up my confusion so I just had to kind of hope for the best. Overall, I’d eat here again but probably not for several months as I just wasn’t wowed by anything I ate here.

This was our first experience at Romo’s Mediterranean Grill & let me tell you that we will definitely be back! My Greek salad with the lamb & balsamic vinaigrette was delicious & probably the best Greek salad I’ve ever eaten. My family all had lamb gyros and their yummy breaded French fries.
The staff was friendly & efficient. The atmosphere was warm & inviting.
