83 miles is the distance I had to travel from home to try out Romney Diner for the first time ever. I love small town diners, and I love a hearty breakfast.
This is one of the best of the small town diners, inexpensive and high quality.
French toast and 2 scrambled eggs with an OJ is the litmus test. It was perfect. Perfect atmosphere. Perfect service.
And they easily passed the french toast test. Even the OJ was stellar, and i’m from Florida and have high expectations for OJ.

We were traveling and found this diner on Google maps with high ratings so we took a small detour to try it. We’re very glad we did. The waitress was superb as was the food. It’s very small inside but very pleasant small town diner vibe. One of the best bacon cheeseburgers I ever had, the homemade broccoli soup was amazing. My 10 year old granddaughter got a grilled cheese sandwich and curly fries and said it was the best she ever had. The 12 year old granddaughter got chicken strips and fries and I think this is the first time both girls ever finished a meal so obviously loved it. Highly recommend.

We were in town for the weekend. Stopped here for breakfast. So tiny! Sat ourselves at a table. Service, food, and prices were excellent. Cash only. The receipt just had a bunch of numbers on it, and the charges didn’t seem right, but my friend didn’t want to ask about it so we just paid it. We came back the next morning, but they are closed on Sunday ♂️. Great place to come for local flavor.
