I’m not really sure what went on in the kitchen for things like this to slide, The wings were burnt to a crisp and not sauced, the deep dish pizza we ordered was way undercooked with the dough still being raw in the center and onions being raw still.
This will be the only time I try this romeos, the Amherst location and Westlake location would never serve food this bad.

Cheese breadsticks were lacking cheese and Italian seasoning. They were just bland-dry breadsticks. They forgot to give me the extra pizza sauce I paid for which we could have used for these dry breadsticks. Pizza was OK but overall the food didn’t match up with the price.

I’ve noticed that a lot of the reviews are frustrated with the professionalism of the people that take the phone calls or managers I am here to also reassure that the validity of all of those other reviews are correct.. now I will say this when I called about a pizza today it was a little bit later than normal I overslept I was hungry I am also disabled the reason why I say that is because when I called about my pizza being a little bit late just wanted to make sure it was on the way because I needed to eat because of my disability it was kind of met with somebody who was a little bit rude and then asked if I looked outside now no I hadn’t because a I slept and I hadn’t poked my head out the door… I really wish that whoever is running that place would be a little more empathetic with people who have disabilities there it’s 2025 we can be nice to each other

This used to be our go to pizza place, but hadn’t ordered from them for quite a while. Online ordering was easy, however the pick-up and food was not good. The staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing, at times just looking around like they were lost. No order seemed to be ready on time while I waited, the ovens were backed up causing overcooked food to come out, and no one seemed to be doing anything with any speed or purpose. After then finally finding my order on the computer and me waiting around for 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, I had to ask if my order was done because they were just (slowly) putting up others but no one was checking them or passing them out. It was ready, and had been sitting on the shelf for about 5 minutes.
While the food wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t good either. The pizza crust tasted like cardboard and the chicken wings were some of the worst I’ve ever had from a pizza place, soft, chewy and generally not good. I doubt we’ll order again, they are charging premium prices for food ($21 for a 2.5 topping large pizza, $15 for a large cheese pizza) that could easily be a $5 frozen pizza from the grocery store and some frozen wings you reheat in the oven.

Congratulations Romeo’s! Called at 9:42 to place and order. Was told the delivery time was 30 minutes (we live 2 minutes away from the store), which is totally acceptable. We called again at 10:30 to inquire about delivery time and was told 10 more minutes. It’s 11:03 pm now: no pizza, no delivery, no one answers the phone.
I am the last person to post a negative review for anyone’s business. I always try to call the business and try to find out what the circumstance may be, but this is not the first time having issues with Avon Lake Romeo’s. Thank you for making sure I was not able to feed my guests! Never again!!!
Update: it’s 11:30 and still no delivery!

Ordered on line gave pickup time of 30 minutes. My son went to pick up had to wait an additional 35 minutes! Would of been nice to get a call saying it will be closer to an hour before your pizza done.

Food is delicious! Love the Capone sauce. Don’t understand the bad reviews we have had a party catered and ordered many times. Always was delicious. Only bad I could say is they don’t have the big Capone sauce container anymore I use to buy that for the house. Taste good on a lot of food.

the employees (I believe the manager is david) are by far the most impolite and audacious food industry employees I’ve ever encountered. I placed an order through ubereats and they made the entire order incorrectly. when I called them to 1. inform them of their total disregard of the order instructions, 2. to ensure if I replaced the order that they would follow the order as it was placed.
david threatened in a roundabout way, that if the order was placed directly through them, they could guarantee it would be done right, however a third party order they can’t promise the order will be fulfilled to the right specifications. (so this pizza place basically doesn’t want to deal with ubereats so they are making people’s orders incorrect ON PURPOSE)
the icing on the cake is, my credit card company notified me, that romeo’s tried to charge me the original full amount, after I was issued the refund (that I was rightfully owed) from ubereats for the total wrong order that they gave us. so not only are they rude, but they are also charging a customers credit card without authorization. felonious rude employees. I’d stay far away from this location.
