What makes this spot a total genius move is their signature sweet sauce. While other places serve sauce that tastes like a lukewarm canned tomato, Romeo’s uses vine-ripened California tomatoes that give every slice a legendary zing. I recently took the crew there and ordered the Butcher Shop—packed with pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon. It was so reliable and heavy that I almost needed a permit to carry it to the car! The dough is made fresh daily and hand-stretched, which is the kind of commitment to quality I respect. It’s crispy, airy, and strong enough to support a mountain of Wisconsin cheese without a hint of “the flop.”

Stay saucy, my friends.
This is the second bad experience I’ve had with this place recently. I let the first one go as a one of, but similar issue. First I called bc I was driving. I asked if they had garlic bread or garlic knots. The young lady replied garlic bread, so I ordered that and a pizza. Once I arrive, I saw their menu and the do have garlic knots as well as cheese bread. Kind of annoying. So I figured I would order some and wait. However, I stood there at the counter, and nobody some much as acknowledged my existence. So I moved over to be directly in their line of sight. Saw three people, and not one said a word. Finally someone started walking my way and then turned to to go in the coolers, again nothing! Like am I invisible? It’s clear that the people that work here just don’t care and are doing the absolute minimum. Either ownership or management don’t know or don’t care. The pizza is fine, but the service sucks.
