Needed some quick eats and this spot was 3 mins from where we were. Turns out to be one of the best pizza’s I’ve ever had. We didn’t know it was mostly a take-out spot but we ended up eating there. The wings are good too!

The first time I went here, the service was a little slow. I was waiting at the front, and no one even acknowledged me, and they had to call for the girl at the register who didn’t even apologize when she finally came to the register. The same thing happened last night when I went (but I had my daughter there to keep me company) on the way out, I heard the manager talking about how unacceptable it was to keep me waiting to the rest of the staff, and I was VERY glad that happened. The pizza is amazing (and I’m a New Yorker so I’m crazy about pizza) the price is great, and this is now our weekly (sometimes twice a week) pizza place to go to.

I love the pizza do much they use sweet claforina tomatoes in the sause. There was a funny poem on the wall about pizza too. It was $19 for a medium pizza with 3 toppings, a little expensive but great if you want a good pie.

I always order from Romeo’s and I always order the same way, from the website. In addition, when I order from the website, I always scroll down to the extras and choose garlic sauce. I’m assuming it means I want an extra, a side of garlic or garlic on the crust. So this time when I ordered, I requested a large half pepperoni, half sausage. So I go and pick my order up and the pizza looks fine when they present it to me. However, once I got home and bit in to a slice I didn’t taste any pizza sauce. Obviously, I’m thinking they forgot the sauce, honest mistake, no big deal. I figured I would call and they would remake the order or issue a credit. I called and requested to speak with the manager and was advised I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner. This is a gentlemen I’ve encountered many times and has always been very pleasant. I explained to the owner what happened, and he was certain that I placed the order incorrectly. I was a bit irritated when he did not agree with what I said, so I hung up and proceeded to place the same order again from the website. Once I discovered I did everything correctly the first time, I called back and explained how I ordered. The owner then said he was not familiar with the website and I should use the app. I like the website and I don’t want to add another app to my phone. So we went through the order process together over the phone. Everything was going smoothly until we got to the extras. Again, I’m assuming extra means just that, extra. I had no idea extra meant changing the pizza sauce I requested at the beginning of the order. Long story short, the owner said “ well
Obviously we won’t add bbq around the crust, so you should know that means extra sauce”. That made absolutely no sense to me, because why wasn’t the extra sauce option located with the actual sauce option . So I asked the owner and he said he didn’t know. He was not familiar to the website because everyone uses the app, and I should use the app. Then he advise he would replace my order “this time”. I was truly confused at that point because I was clearly not in the wrong. As the owner you should know the website and the app. Especially if it’s your business and livelihood. At that point, I’m thinking this can’t possibly be the owner, this is someone pretending to be the owner. Fast forward, I go back today to collect my correct order, and they have no record of it in the system, but the nice gentleman took my word for it and replaced the pizza. So I explained to the gentleman what happened and asked to speak with the manager. Guess what!?! It was actually the owner/manager I spoke to that day. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve never had a bad encounter with this gentleman in the past. Not to mention, I didn’t think the actual owner would give me so much push back on a incorrectly made 1 topping large pizza. I’ve ordered my pizza the same way in the past, choosing garlic sauce as an extra and never had an issue. It really surprised me that I had an issue this time, and it was the owner giving me the push back. Long story short, I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I’m not one to believe the customer is always right, but in this situation I was right. With that being said, the owner/manager needs to learn both the website and the app to be able to correctly address issues that arise from incorrect orders. I will continue to order because I truly like the pizza, but I will always double check my order in the future. I suggest everyone else does the same. Most importantly, the owner’s way of handling the situation, and the tone he had with me will always be in the back of my mind. I will definitely NOT recommend Romeo’s to others for fear of them having the same experience. In the climate we are in right now every dollar we spend is precious, and I expect to get what I pay for. ESPECIALLY, if it’s the owner making my order.

I’ve always liked the romeo’s deluxe here and today hasn’t changed my mind. They messed up my order when I came to pick it up. The (probably) manager told me and said they can redo it or give me the wrong one. He was very nice and helpful and accidents can happen when they’re rushing. Thanks for always making great pizzas!

It’s not bad but it’s not the best, the crust is good and fluffy the dough could use a little more time in the oven. The cheese is good, the sauce needs to be a little less sweet it reminds me of Marcos pizza. If it’s close to you give it a try.

The deep dish here is phenomenal! Love their pizza and get it regularly- also fantastic if you have to do larger order. Call them than using the app for bigger party as they always get you better deal than online. Staff are lovely and food is fantastic. Love the pizzas, chicken wings, salads, appetizers and subs Only thing would not order again is mozzarella sticks. They just aren’t as good as everything else is.

I love Romeo’s pizza! It’s the slightly sweet sauce that makes it different from other pizza places and adds additional flavor. The ingredients feel fresh and very tasty. The prices can seem higher than other pizza places but it’s definitely worth it.
