I wouldn’t serve the food they served to me tonight to a dog and I’ve been coming here for 30 years. Pizza had tons of dried chunky sauce with very little cheese. The Mexican food was a soggy mess

Server was excellent, prompt and attentive and friendly. Food was tasty, Hot and quick, so very consistent for Romeos. Eaten here for decades, starting when they were across the street. This was our go to for a good comfort food fix as we know exactly what we want and we consistently get it here. Usually we bring along a friend with special needs and never has the staff balked when he has to bring the menu to within an inch of his face to see with his magnifier nor do they freak if he has to take insulin shot at the table. Kudos to the staff for that as my husband has had to address some issues with this in other establishments. Not here. Friendly and relaxed and respectable atmosphere.

The food comes out quickly and hot. Our server, Lonnie, was exceptional in his friendliness, recommendations, service and speed. The 4-Dip appetizer pairs well with the jumbo margarita after a hard day at work. Despite being hungry enough to gnaw off my own arm when I got there, I could only finish half of the Chimi Grande (extra beans, no rice for me). This place is great for fast, fresh, hot Tex-Mex.

Seriously, the BEST tacos I’ve ever had!

Their enchiladas add cheese sauce 10/10
Also, I love their burritos with any or all of the sauces!!

If you’re looking for an adult beverage, Romeos margaritas NEVER disappoint AND you can get them to go!!

Of all the places to eat, this is one I rarely miss when I’m Omaha.

We were frequent patrons of Romeos for years. Until a year or so ago, the food just wasn’t the same. Tacos were lucky to have a tablespoon of beef, hardly any cheese or lettuce. And it was cold. We gave it a few more visits, but it just wasn’t the same. My daughter tried it last week and said it was really good like before. So tried it today for lunch. It was the good ‘ol Romeos!!! So happy we gave it a shot. We will again become Romeo fans.
Keep up the good work, Romeos!!

We just had dinner last night and the food was great, couldn’t eat it all, had to take home a box, big portions.

Cheese Sauce/Dip has a very odd taste to it. When I ordered my Tres Burito and gave the cheese sauce option, I didn’t realize it would come coated in it. It is edible but does taste very odd. The chip don’t look burnt but taste burnt, so my guess the oil that fried them in is old. I probably won’t be coming back.

Not our best experience at Romeo’s. We got a drink at the bar and told the server that we wanted to order food to go. One dinner, of the three we ordered, was brought out on a plate. That was taken back to the kitchen. Then a taco salad in a box was brought over, but we’d ordered it without black olives and it was covered in olives so that was taken back. Then we thought we had our three meals in a sack and everything correct, but then we got home and the nachos supreme we’d ordered was only a regular nachos, no sour cream or guacamole. Really disappointed in this experience. We live a few miles away, so we didn’t drive back to get this made right. Not sure why this was so difficult to get right. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Maybe this is why.

Attentive staff. Americanized Mexican food. Notably, there was a section on the menu called “North of the Border” that had more traditional American items. Unlike many other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to, tortilla chips here were not complimentary.

I had their lunch taco salad and it was very tasty. Ground beef was warm and the ranch dressing was on point. I would eat here again. Would love a smaller version of the taco salad though. It was 3 meals for me.
