Great little neighborhood Coney Island owned and operated by a Greek family as they are the ones that know how to do it up right! Saturday morning typical crowded and so many of the customers are regulars as was obvious by all the smiles and handshakes. The wait staff working their butts off to get folks seated and served promptly while the owners yell out “Good to see you-Thanks for coming!”. Definitely a great little place for big plates with lots of food. My omelette (chili/cheese) was delicious and these guys cook the hash browns oh so good, crispy on the outside but buttery juicy on the inside. Definitely make a stop when you’re in the area!

Excellent service feom Sylvia, and delicious food. I had 3 pancakes with over easy eggs on top, and a side of hashbrowns, mynwife had grilled fish and hashbrowns. Both had coffee.
Our coffee cups were never empty & always filled.
The pancakes were golden brown, thick & fluffy, and had an amazing flavor.
The hashbrowns were homemade… light and delicious!
And the fish was nicely grilled, flakey and juicy (it was either cod or perch, I forgot), The included coleslaw was fresh, crispy, and had a hint of sweet tangy flavor… nicely done.
Overall, food and service was excellent. We came in on a cold and icy day, so only a couple customers were there, but atmosphere was decent. Could use some updating or decor change… but hey, im eating the food, not the furniture. Thanks again crew!

We ate here walked in with little to no wait while the rest of the near by restaurants were 45 minute waits. So it is good for in a hurry we ate and were out of there before the couple waiting outside around the corner got a table. The food was hot and good but on the over cooked side. The Fries were the Crispiest fries we ever had. That’s what brought the score down. The lemon rice soup was spot on and on the creamy side. We did enjoy the fish. I would go back for that. The meals at the tables around us looked really good and not as over cooked as ours. I like the staff they were busy and Friendly. I don’t think it is expensive either so that was also a bonus. I just wish I could rave about something like the fries but they were off the mark. Maybe the next visit will be better. We normally get Breakfast here and it is always fast and good.

Its been two years since we been at the Romeo Coney Island and the place looks even better. When we both arrive, we were greeted. They told us to sit anywhere. The waitress came to us asking what we like to drink and brought our menus to us. The lady who waited on us was great. She was nice to us and professional which means a lot in today’s world. Keep up the great work.

I had a great experience eating here and will always keep coming back. I always go for the chicken pita with chili fries on the side but they also have a great breakfast. The food is unbeatable and prices are great. The owner treats all his customers like family, A1 service.

I was politely greeted as soon as I entered and the waitress was so friendly and accommodating. The interior was neat, clean and welcoming. I had a fantastic omelette and the coffee was fresh. I’m a huge fan of all day breakfast and they delivered.

Considering the circumstances, this small Coney Island restaurant is big on what’s important… great quality. Delicious hot dogs, tasty fries, and friendly service. Can’t wait to return to try them again when life gets back to normal.

Had a great little breakfast on a Saturday morning before golfing. The servers were attentive and nice and the food was great. The pricing was really good too. I will be back the next time I am in the area.
