WowWowWow, what a treat! We have driven by Rome Bakery & Market for years and TODAY we finally stopped in, it was perfect! Everything you could ask for in bakery, freshly made EVERYTHING from sandwiches, pastries, pies you name it. If you need a bottle of wine or some beer, some grocery items to their own “bling” you will find it here. Freshly made coffees from lattes to cappuccinos and beyond, you’ll find that here as well. Inside and outdoor dining is available and they have trivia nights during each month (we must try this out soon!). They really have hot all the check narks. The staff are beyond kind and friendly and if you are looking for GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS, this is your place. No longer do we have to drive to Mount Vernon for our gluten free bread & pizza crusts, Rome has them, and MORE!!! What a find, what a great space, delicious lattes, what nice people, support local, they sooooo deserve it. Thank you to all @ Rome!

We have been regulars to the Rome store since we moved out to Mt. Baker, the friendliest staff, fair prices, and not to mention BOMB pizza. Our first time getting pizza from the bakery, and man it didn’t disappoint. Thanks Rome Store! Happy 100th.

I went to the Rome store last week for my first time after hearing my sister in law rave about the pizza, dry goods, and desserts. I was blown away by their delicata squash pizza of the month. Their lime pie cup was everything I want a key lime pie to be!!! I’m a local leather artisan and bladesmith, so it filled me with happiness to see The Roam Store carry so many locally made items to stock this powerhouse of a store. It is more than a little store with exceptional food and cool stuff, it’s a hub of community. Mom and Pop stores like this one are what we need more of. If The Roam Store is building a village, I want to be a villager.

Nice grocery store about 5 mi out of Bellingham; locally owned with new owners; and now they offer really good pizza; the cheese bread was really good too

I think only once in all the years I’ve been driving past Rome Market have I failed to stop. The baked goods and snacks are too hard to pass up! My mom and sister also love this place.
Cute little gifts, snacks, baked goods, pizza, even sometimes chicken feed and plants.
It is worth a stop.
I like the pesto roll thingies (I forget what they are called) and the turkey sandwiches. They even have a little microwave to warm it up if you like.

Emerson the cashier made our experience delightful. Didn’t hurt that it was the best pizza and cider we’ve ever had. Great little store!

I’ve lived here for 20 years. I’ve seen that store go from a hot mess, to the wonderful place it is today. It’s welcoming, the people that work at Rome are lovely and the food and bakery are outstanding.

Extremely pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pizzas we ordered, we will definitely be returning! So good! We were really hungry, we ate both pizzas for 2 people. I hope the Figgy Piggy pizza is a permanent menu item!

Had a great stop on our way home from Mt. Baker. Had a cinnamon roll with the kids while our pizza was being made. And then when the pizza came it was amazing. Great spot for a stop on the way or back from Baker. Well stocked and delicious baked goods, great prices. If it was later in the afternoon/evening I would have also enjoyed having some of the great selection of beers. Gotta stop here.
