What made the experience particularly frustrating was the service. I had planned to enjoy my meal while catching up on emails, but I was unable to do so because I felt consistently rushed. After my food was delivered, the waitress returned to my table approximately every five minutes asking if I wanted a box and the bill. In total, I was in the restaurant for only about 30 minutes, yet I was asked three separate times if I was ready to leave.
After the third time, I felt pressured enough that I packed up and decided to leave. In frustration, I left uneaten food and two full drinks on the table, taking only the remaining portion of my pizza with me.
To make matters worse, when it was time to pay, the waitress informed me that my card had been declined. I asked whether the chip had been inserted properly, as I use a foreign card. She responded that it had and looked at me in a way that felt dismissive. When I followed her to the payment station and inserted the chip myself, the transaction went through immediately without issue.
Overall, the service felt unnecessarily pushy and rushed to the point that I couldn’t even enjoy a short meal in peace. I left extremely disappointed with both the experience and the level of professionalism displayed. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant dining experience.
We got a small pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks.
Traveling from Wisconsin to Arizona and after being on the road for 16 hours anything sounds great. When we phoned in the order they said it would 20 minutes really it took 15 so that was a bonus. Staff was really friendly in person and on the phone. The presentation of the pizza looked like a low budget like a frozen one from the store but that was damn near the best pizza I have ever had. It was a little on the greasy side and was a little worried about that (due to traveling) but wasn’t an issue. The mozzarella sticks were absolutely the best ones I have ever had throughout the 50 states. The price is why I had to give it 3 stars. The total was about $30. I think we paid about $28?? (We thought it was a bit much for what we got)But definitely would stop there again for a meal. The restaurant itself looked a bit older inside and out but over all looked really clean even tho it wasn’t busy and they were about to close, so that may have been a factor. Over good place for some quick food.
Better than Olive Garden any day of the week.
My waiter was amazing, and waitstaff that was not mine checked on me as well. Kudos to you for that!
The food, where do I start!
Come hungry.
I got the appetizer combo, even though I was dining alone. The calamari was cooked just right, no “chewy-ness” at all.
The house dressing is a tomato basil dressing, and if every restaurant carried it, I would never order Italian dressing again. The lettuce was not iceberg for my salad, and tasted fresh and not wilted. Thank you for that! And I did not have to cut it at all, so refreshing and nice! Keep up the amazing work!
Certainly a gem in Western Oklahoma!
A low-light to our route 66 trip.
